I'm watching it now. It's heavy. Heartbreaking. So much blood, so much loss, so much war.

I liked the part when he made "camp" in enemy territory and gave the Japanese Baby some aspirin  who was cradled in his mothers arms- in  bandages. That's the Nic I love.

mybe is not Japanese baby, because they were in Saipan mybe he was a native.

I kind of look at all this as a hobby.  Maybe initially I was really into learning everything I could about an actor I admire but now it's more about the social interaction and the license to be silly as an adult.  :)

You know, Bella.

I guess we  might be considered " Obsessive? compulsive" types by a  behavioral specialist but

the bottom line is that here we are, and  we are not really doing anything wrong as far as I can see. Just having alittle fun( No, alot of fun!!!!!) if the truth be told... Is that OK or not. It better be because whatever we talk about here or anything else, If someone has a problem with that , I 'll be the first to tell tell them to **** off - How about that- Mr. Pysco-anolytic specialist. What are you you going to do about that that, Doc? Tell us we are crazy and we need some help..

Bella, My medical benefits just kicked in and I can't wait to sit down  and tell the doctor that for the most part. I feel OK but I have this obsession re: Nicolas Cage to where I want him so much that I can't sleep sometimes. In fact, I  can't sleep at all..... Do you think you could write me a presciption for some Ativan because if you don't , I'll just switch doctors how about that ? Ca'nt wait.

Speak for yourself!

Most of us are just regular fans...ladies who enjoy a bit of fun without being obsessed, obsessive or crazy!

It sure does sound like you were wreaking havoc in that town of yours!  But even lashing out at others get's old, doesn't it?  I guess it's maturity kicking in when we learn to harness our emotions (both the negative and positive ones) and do something constructive with them.   I wish you success in all your endeavors....and yes, coming here is great fun.  It is a release to shoot the bull with other like minded Nic nuts!   :)

Bella, Butterflies, Tanks and Nic  in Camoflauge.. A dream come true..And Lord, Help us all. You know For the past 10 years, I have resided right outside of Camp Pendleton.. With all of those marines and the whole military element, but , I always looked at them as kids, because they were, they were usually always younger than me and from some mid western state and, I just always saw them as teenagers trying to buy me a drink.. It was a sweet gesture but I never could see myself with one of them. They just always seemed too young and it was'nt right- Like what are you doing here? Soldier,Like just Go Home!!!!!  Go back to your little hometown in

Kansas or Oklahoma or Missouri. But they wouldn't.. They would talk about their families  back home and whay they thought about California and the bottem line is  Highly trained teenagersgoing to war, trying to do the right thing. Planning on coming home..

I guess to an outsider... We might seem alittle psychotic. And well, maybe we are.... So what.. We have alot of ****ing fun here. And guess what else.... It keeps me out of trouble . I'm not causing trouble anymore, reeking havoc on society and kicking ass anymore. Throwing bricks through shop store windows...  Slashing my ex boyfriends  truck  tires ,etc. ... I stay home and come over here and watch movies and I'm very happy with that....Good night  and good luck.

Hi hun!

You'll love the commentary by Nic and Christian Slater.

I sometimes lull myself to sleep just listening to Nic's dulcet tones through my headphones!

Windtalkers is one of my favourite Nic films too.

Nic is at his best as Joe Enders as well as great direction and a classy supporting cast.

 Great Ending....
