I know it's older but that was the first movie I saw with Nicholas Cage in it. The first time I had really heard of him and when I  became a fan. I also liked his co-star Elizabeth Mcgovern. I thought she was really beautiful and refined (at least she appeared that way in the movie as I remember)  And then she more or less disappeared. Or maybe not. It was also filmed in Mendocino which I just found out . I thought that was very cool. Mendocino has everything- wine, coffee, the best seafood at least  crab & abalone in California.
