He's such an amazingly busy actor with so many upcoming movies. WOW! He has lots of energy

Cage to star in cop thriller

Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in the Joe Ruben-directed ("Sleeping With the Enemy") cop thriller "Crazy Dog," Variety reports.

The story centres on a New York City cop who is consumed with guilt after his cowardice results in his friend's death, which leads him on a self-destructive pattern, but eventually seeks redemption.

Cage is currently shooting the thriller "Next" with Julianne Moore and Jessica Biel.
