all of the Harry Potter kids are Brits or European because it's a British school.
Nic can do many things so why feel slighted at something not meant for him anyway? We're not all Playboy bunnies either so I don't feel discriminated against that they haven't called for me to pose. Just not meant to be and I'm okay with that - Nic should be too.
As much as I would enjoy seeing Nic play James Bond, I feel it's rather silly for him to cry "discrimination". It's called "typecasting"... he of all people should know that, considering he grew up in Hollywood.
You would not cast Kathy Bates or Roseanne as a sexy leading lady type... is that discrimination? No, it's typecasting.
Have you seen the bloke they have chosen Daniel Craig . I personally just don't see him as Bond myself. Of cause thats just based on his look maybe his acting will change that. As for Bond being played by a Brit I have mixed thoughts. I think Connery, Brosnan and Niven were definately better in the role than the non -brits but whether that was nationality or acting ability I dont know.
I was hoping that Hugh Jackman would be the next 007. That boy has the looks etc.That is one good lookin' fellow! He is my next in line favorite actor (after Nic of coarse)
Hollywood actor NICOLAS CAGE is angry that his American nationality hindered his chance to become JAMES BOND because he thinks the prejudice is petty and stupid. The CON AIR star resents the unwritten rule which states the secret spy can only be played by British actors and is devastated he will probably never get another opportunity to try for the role. i recently saw this article on a website and who knows if it is true and nic did want to be the new james bond but i think he would have been great as 007 iam british but i also think that the rule that james bond should only be played by an english man is stupid. iam sure nic could do a great english accent and hes tall dark and handsome and we know hes a great action star so why not let nic be bond.
