"No discussion -- no deals." - Face/Off Script. "You are what you love, not what loves you." - Adaptation. SAY IT LOUD - I'M A NICAHOLIC AND I'M PROUD XD!!!
Here's a transcript of the interview: Interviewer: What other sources of inspiration did you pull from in order to play Balthazar?
Nic: You know I... I really believe that Balthazar is one of the few characters that I feel totally comfortable with... when people think about I've not seen him play a sorcerer and that seems odd to them, but the truth is my whole life has been about the practice for that part, because it's all about the imagination, which is really my, uh, domain. As a child I had a lot of a friends and my brothers were all older so I spent alot of time in this little castle that my father had built for me and I would imagine I was an astronaut, or I was a wizard, or a knight, or a submarine captain, whatever it might be.. and that was my most important tool, the imagination. I trained it there as a child, so that's what I mean like, Balthazar's all about the imagination that's why it was so comfortable for me. You know I didn't, I really didn't sweat it on this one.
Apologies if this is a repeat posting!
