Also, his website is worth checking out. Mark Isham scored Nic´s film NEXT, among many others, and is a wonderful jazz musician:

I loved the NEXT score, it was very atmospheric. In Por of Call New Orleans I think Isham has truly captured the contradictions of Nic´s character. At the beginning of the suite he´s in predatory mode, but towards the end he seems to regain some unstable peace of mind... Great music!
