Remember the luxury boat party in Venice in Nic and Eva´s honor after the BL premiere? Well, apparently all guests had to take off their shoes (in the ladys´ case, their high heels to board the boat... save for the hostess, who owns the boat and set up the party and she could do as she pleased, LOL!)

There´s some footage of Nic greeting the paps before boarding the boat.

EVA MENDES, MAI SENZA TACCHI - Festa esclusiva, abiti eleganti, decine di vip, da Marta Marzotto a Paris Hilton, ieri sul rompighiaccio Prometej della stilista Alberta Ferretti, attraccato a Riva San Biagio a Venezia, in uno scenario da fiaba con vista sul Canal Grande. Da celebrare c'erano Werner Herzog e il suo Cattivo Tenente Nicolas Cage, e anche Eva Mendes. Tutti hanno dovuto consegnare i sandali prima di salire sulla barca, come da regolamento. Signore eleganti e ingioiellate sono precipitate di altezza senza il tacco 12. Sul tardi č apparsa lei, cambiata d'abito (da Armani alla padrona di casa), bella e solare ma molto alta: non aveva voluto togliere le scarpe, e, vera raccomandata, ha avuto l'ok.
