RE: At Disney Land............for Expo

Thanks for sharing your story, Carrie... and happy belated birthday to your little girl, she looks so sweet!

Yeah I guess it must be hard to look for a little privacy in a public place when you´re a public person... Luckily Nic has got understanding fans like your husband!

First happy birthday to Tannis (though a bit late), and welcome to the forum! :)
How nice and lucky are you to meet Nic in person... envy ya!

Well, as a celebrity it's almost impossible not to be 'on'... whether the photogragher does so accidentally or on purpose. Nic must understand this, yet can still feel bothered... hmm

Thanks for sharing!

(How I wish I were on the stage and sang 'La La La Means I Love You'...biggrin)

Ah............no singing Karoke for him then!  I asked because he is said to enjoy Karoke.

And I'm with you..... It really is a shame that celebrities are always 'on' even when out enjoying a day with their families.

Thanks again for sharing....

nah..he didn't take the stage.  After that, he was spotted by another fan who made a little spectacle by taking a picture with him.  At least my husband, who really was gushing over him, kept it very quiet and didn't freak out.  It was obvious Mr. Cage was trying to stay low key and just enjoy the day with his family, who were nearby playing with one of the game tables. He was very good at not drawing attention to himself and even put on a baseball cap.  I actually felt a little sad while watching him avoid people who were drawing attention to him.  It must be difficult at times when you just want to enjoy the day with your family.

I did notice that he stopped to watch my daughter sing and when I told her that she got all embarrassed!  We just watched National Treasure the other day with the kids, so they were acutely aware of who he was.  Made the day very special.

Tannis says thanks for the birthday wishes!! She had a great day!

Thanks for sharing Carrie.   It's got to be disconceerting for celebrities to constantly spot cameras on them, no matter how innocent the photographer.   He must have been in a tense mood to even approach.  Glad things seemed to work out.

BTW.....Did Nic take the stage to sing Karoke?  What song did he sing?

OH....and a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TANNIS!
