RE: Nic NOT doing The Green Hornet

Time Share... I guess there´s a genuine interest in the movie, but at this rate they´ll be eternally postponing it until Nic and Will share time not in a vacation home, but in the old people´s home...

Time Share has been on the list of upcoming movies for so long that I suspect it's never going to happen.   I can't imagine either of them figuring out WHO should get top-billing.

But, I agree.............it would make for a phenomenal collaboration.  When Nic does do comedy he's hysterical.

Ahhh... the old stand-by... "Creative Differences"... Interesting...

It'll be interesting to see if "Time Share" with Will Smith makes it through... I really hope it does because even though Cage doesn't care to much for comedies... the movie will be hilarious to watch (Cage & Smith) plus, it'll make mega dollars at the boxoffice!

And here's the reason why Nic's not going to do it...

Yeah I guess he can at least have a little more R&R before starting shoothing another one of his many projects for the remainder of the year...

Too bad... From what I've heard, unless it's animation, Cage pretty much likes to be the top billing star in movies plus, the money has got to be right...

No sweat off Nic's back though, he has PLENTY on projects in the works!

Nicolas Cage Leaves The Green Hornet: One of the riskier big budget movies on the 2010 release schedule, Michel Gondrys adaptation of The Green Hornet with Seth Rogen, has suffered another setback. Following news that the movie would switch from a summer release date to the fall, it now appears that one of the major stars has left the project entirely. Cage, who was scheduled to play the bad guy, apparently dropped out this week. While The Green Hornet still has Rogen and Cameron Diaz on board, Gondry now faces the daunting task of finding another name actor with Cages commercial value willing to become a villain.
