Since a new blu-ray edition of Leaving Las Vegas is being issued, I saw the movie this weekend, and cried drunken tears all over it again. I just remembered that Nic said heīd been listening to this wonderful music during the whole shooting, to better get into the mood of the character.
This is one of the best jazz discs ever made, and this year itīs the 50th anniversary of its recording by a genius named Miles Davis.
Say, doesnīt this have an air of Ben Sanderson? You can almost smell the reek of vodka from his mouth...
