I agree. THE WEATHERMAN was severly underrated. It's an excellent movie and the story it tells of a man rings true to life.

The only thing I didn't care for was the constant and very un-necessary use of the F word. To me.......there is no reason to use continual swearing in a movie other than for shock value. There are a multitude of other ways to get the same amount of anger, crudeness, or frustration across in good storytelling.

It´s one of my fave Nic´s movies. I could totally relate to Dave Spritz, it was like he was telling me my own life. Nic´s acting was superb (he pulled off a very unsympathetic character with gusto). The script was genius. What else do you want?
