Lead character.Adopted brother of Doctor Jennifer Stonewaller.He enjoys a good cigar and 30 yr old Scotch, straight up, often.(**Important note to screenwriter:He takes two showers a day, please use this trait to delight the moviegoers**). Has a young son, not identified in character as of yet.
He is tall, handsome, well bodied, in effect Scorchingly HOT with irresistible charm.He has an amazing smile and almost always wears sunglasses.He is most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt.On official business he can be seen wearing a waistcoat with the FBI logo on the back.
He is known to be a playboy.He uses the most of his looks and charm to his own advantage, without much regard for the women he seduces.In this way he uses seduction as a weapon for ferreting out information. He is sexually insatiable and its possible that his need for sex has become an addiction.Does all this point to a character with no moral code or compass?Even though the Detective can have any woman he wants and has confidence in his sexuality, inside he is actually emotionally raw from what he and his sister went thru as children.
He is a fair person, extremely sweet to his sister and son.He is a fair employer and treats his cleaning woman with respect, paying her well for a job well done.The Detective has known his secretary since childhood and is just now coming to the realization that the sexual tension he has always had with her may be more than just lust that he is feeling.Its possible he cant fight what hes been feeling anymore and that it is true love.

oh no...! It's bad isn't it. He deserves something far less tacky. The first name that went through my mine was camelot like the castle, but thought the double entendres there were even more risky...........
On a more serious note, I love the idea of characters names suggesting the essential quality of the character. Charles Dickens one of my fave writers, was the master at it, with names like Thomas Gradgrind from Hard Times, and Miss Flite and lady Dedlock from Bleak House!
So maybe once his character is more defined the name will just pop up!

ok...in the beginning what grabbed my attention was this character has a way with women and is a bit of a playboy with irresistable charm...who plays on his looks and oozing sexuality... He is scorchingly hot and he knows this is his ultimate weapon when ferreting for information...does he have a moral code or is he willing to go to any ends? Maybe he doesn't see it as a chore, because he is actually completely sexually insatiable and enjoys that part of his job and the repeated seduction challenge actually becomes an addiction?! sorry...guess what kind of a mood I'm in just now?
And on these lines i can only think of something very rude and silly for a name like hugh nobalot! Lol sorry, sorry! Edit this bit hmmm...Lancealot would be too subtle.... Would work if it was to have a comedic element

In the beginnig of the movie he does not like his secretary, but during the story he found - she is loyal, supportive tht´s why he fall in love with her.

Okay....by now....everyone knows our Detective is to be played by Nic. We have yet, however to round out his character so this is the place to not only start giving him an actual 'character' but also to give him an appropriate name.
