And I'm with you.............Gabrielle can't be found out until the end of the story. She needs to be woven in carefully.
I think that the movie should start with the bloody shower scene and the show of legs, hint of shoulder/breast. But her hair should be up in a shower cap so from behind the only thing the audience knows is that one of the women they are about to be introduced to is the killer. Then weave in all the ladies one by one.
Maybe the character of Gabrielle can make an appearance as the long lost sibling and can get to know said cleaning lady while waiting around the office for the Detective? And the audience just knows she's a blonde bombshell. Her being related to the Doc and Detective can be alluded to but not divulged, if ya know what I mean.
And um........ya know.............I've just summarized the characters and such but the ACTUAL screenplay has to be written by Gwen! I'm no good at that kind of thing.....
We still have to juice up the Lady Down the Lanes part.......

Hmm... I´m beginning to take a liking to this Gabrielle lady. Love villains...
Maybe we should make sure the sibling connection is not revealed after later on in the story... YOu know, caper stories always mislead the audience quite a bit before getting them on the right track of who the murderer is... (Unless you prefer to let the audience participate in the knowing from the start, and swap the thriller suspense for a character study of a psychotic lady, but this way the protagonist would be Gabrielle, not Nic´s detective... would an A-lister allow that, LOL?)
We could have a couple of us being suggested as suspicious characters, for instance... What about Gabrielle becoming the confidante of the Cleaning Lady, who would appear to enjoy inmensely the morbid details of every murder and therefore would seem a culprit by all accounts... until being murdered by Gabrielle herself in a plot twist, after Gabrielle would have decided she had extracted all possible info from the nosy and gossipy Cleaning Lady and therefore she was not useful anymore? Modus operandi: pouring a splash of Mr Clean cleaner in the bakery´s daily cup of coffee... That way our very own Forensic Doc would find the corpse to be as bright as a new pin... And would conclude the Cleaning Lady commited the most hygienic suicide on record, out of unrequitted love for the Detective of course...
Ok....how about if Gwen's character (possible name of Gabrielle Grayson) could be the long lost and forgotten older sister of the Detective and the Doctor. She is a Cougar type woman, mid 40's and she oozes sexpot from her pores. She wasn't adopted with her younger siblings (the Detective, early 40's and the Doctor, late 30's) because she showed early signs of being a psychopath.
When she was 10, the Detective would have been around age 6, the Doctor around age 3. Neither of them really remember having an older sister. It is the belief that her brother and sister have betrayed her and abandoned her in that ophanage that motivates their psychologically damaged sister to kill.
***note.....she caused the death of their parents as a child. She's always been a 'bad seed'....only as an adult she has learned to hide that fact very well. People only see a breathtakingly beautiful, intelligent woman when they meet her***

wait- i'm lost. is gwen blood relation or only other orphan? i don't do incest and i thought she was one of the seductresses. if just part of trio, makes sense and love orphanage idea. left behind wants vengence, etc

Hmmmm.....Maybe the third sibling was left in the orphanage because she was already at a young age showing the signs of being a psychopath and therefore not able to be placed in a loving home? That would be her motive for wanting to ruin her siblings lives in one way or another!
So upon getting out of the orphanage at the age of 16, she plots and succeeds in killing the adoptive parents of the young Detective and his sister. Since they didn't originally die......maybe were kept after school for something on the day of the parents murder, she's now wreaking vengeance on their lives.
But..........now....as you said..............we have to come up with the EXACT weapons, modus operandi..............We need to weave it together.

she was left alone, and detective and doctor were adopted by the parents, they were going to adopt also gwen, bat there was a tragedy, so they cant do this. She felt - she hate NIC and doctor, because she was not involved into a family, while they both were.
The reasom to kill . she is wondering to discredite our detective - as being sexualy instabile and his sister as an incompetent, insufficient doc and detective, who failed in their proffesions - she had a plane to kill a lot of NIC former lovers - to pretend detective might be involved in the murder thred and to disable forensic doc - as forensic doc is a person who help to detective to cover the evidences - and doc have to die, because she recognized first who is murderer, Bon we need more persons here, i have never been writting a script before
and we need a perfect method how to kill -- blood, poison, gun, weird accidents.... really difficult
Excellent! This is exactly what we need to do! BRAINSTORM over Gwen's character! How does she fit in? What does she look like? Why is she killing everyone? Who does she kill? How does she get away with it for so long?
I don't think she can be in the Detective's circle, although may be he had a one night stand with her and then dumped her, quickly forgetting she ever existed. There's nothing worse than a woman scorned?
And how did the parents really die?
Maybe................the Detective and the Doctor had a third sibling? One that caused the 'accident' that took the life of the parents and almost them? And that........they do not remember her as she was older than them? And now, she's reappeared to finish off the rest of her family? Hmmmm.....
Then........as you mentioned Jenn. We have to have more than one murder. We've got the Doctor biting the dust at the end........but something has to first happen to bring all the characters together........including Gwen's character.
Oooh...................this is the hard part, ya know?

What if a victims of our murderer are a beautiful ladies, who had a relationship with our sexually instabile detective. First victim could be believed to be an accident or solo morder the secon one - another accident next one - detective recognized victims as beeing his former lovers - he started to be suspected that sister is jealeous, because she hate his one night gals / BTW I like it/
What will be a position of GWEN - what was the relationship -why gwen is killing all of these gals - what was her former relationship to detective and his sister?
