Jennifer, the adopted sister of the Detective is a beautiful but icily cold woman.She shows no emotional warmth and because of this, her one stab at a relationship has ended in Divorce.Its possible she suffers from a mental illness (maybe Dissociative Personality Disorder) and it is possible that because of all the hours spent alone in the morgue with corpses, that she has completely lost her "marbles" and has now started murdering people, then autopsying them, all the while planting evidence that points elsewhere.
As a youngster, she and the Sidekick Secretary were the best of friends.The Detective adores his little sister but starts to suspects her of being in collusion with the actual murderer (Gwen).
Jennifer and the Detectives adoptive parents died together many years ago under very strange circumstances, which have never been fully explained.This tragedy is what made the lead character become a Detective and Jennifer a Doctor of Forensics.They have never gotten over the deaths of their parents and they are still searching for the truth.
The Doctor dies in an apparent suicide, witnessed by her brother, towards the end of the movie.

And um......I think the name Dr Jennifer Stonewaller is a brilliant name. It has a certain ring to it and it does conjure up images of a 'no nonsense' type woman! Wonderful name!

Well, all night I had bad dreams about a forensic medicine, and woke up with severe headache. After shower and coffee I made decision - I like jenifer stonewaller, of course the name suggestion is still open because of proffesional approache is requred here. LOL /it depends on Gwen/. Do not want to be a widow, beter is divorced. You know my character is ...proffesional, unfriendly, workoholic /means spending my time in morgue only/ and really ..Bi....tch /ups sorry cagefactor/.
I think we can find a name like this stonewaller - could mean a building wall about myself to avoid contact with people /i mean still living people of course/
I don't know if it has any particular meaning other than maybe it origially meant something like "One who builds walls of stone".
And you know what???? This is a perfect and wonderful example of how names are very important when naming a character!
For instance......You suggested the name Mrs. Smile and I saw teeth.
I suggested a name of Stonewaller and you thought of a movie you'd seen with your kids.
I find it fascinating really how names DO AFFECT people. I actually have a book on the subject! LOL!

Well........we could make your character be a divorcee or a widow. Then the Dectective's name can be something other than Stone.
Or.....we could elongate the name of the Doctor...
Dr. Jennifer Stonewaller Dr. Jennifer Stonesky Dr. Jennifer Stoneislaw Dr. Jennier Stonesburrows Dr. Jennifer Rock?

Oooh......how about Genevieve Stone? It has a sexy ring to it!
Oh....and um....now we have to be careful....because the Doctor is the sister of the detective and therefore, if unmarried, must have the same last name. And I think there has already been a Detective on the bigscreen with the last name of Stone. Oh dear.......
