Awww....you are so sweet and I thank you. I wish I could actually do more for my brother today but with the weather as bad as it is and with the car I drive, I can't venture far from my home. The roads are covered in ice and he's in a hospital about 45 minutes away when the roads are clear. Tonight I will be going with my husband to see him in our 4wheel drive truck. It will still probably take us double the normal time to get to the hospital but I want to see for myself how he is doing. With these kinds of things, ya just never know how things are gonna go.
Anyway....I thank you for sending all that love, prayers and healing to everyone. I really do believe in the power of prayer and especially in the power of many people praying for the same thing so I am never shy when someone needs help to request help for them in that vein.
AND HEY GUYS....Everyone else should know that they too can request help as needed! We're a family here, right????

Bonnie.....I know I've said this some place else today, but just wanted you to know how very much your family are in my thoughts.
I'm sending Reiki at intervals to your brother Bruce today. Good to know he is in safe hands and as our Dr Jenn says, it's the right place. I'm calling on the Archangels Michael, for protection and strength, and Raphael for healing, so you've got the full medical and spiritual team going on there.
It is great news Karen's surgeon has reinforced the optimism as well.
I hope Patrik is finding as much peacefulness as possible, may he be surrounded by love and light.
Finally, dear Bonnie, I'm sending heaps of healing to you too, I know what you said over the other place about not worrying about you, but my dear friend as the loving, giving sister that you are, you deserve a little light and strength under your wings too....

they did end up admitting my brother to the hospital yesterday. They think something other than just the pneumonia is going on so they will be running alot of different tests today. He's miserable, let me tell ya. They have him hooked up to five different bags of IV fluids including antibiotics, steroids and lasix to get the fluids out of his lungs. He's one sick cookie....
My sister Karen finally saw the surgeon who also sounds optimistic at this time. They can't schedule the surgery tho until her cardioloigst gives the OK cuz she had a bypass surgery about 9 years ago. As soon as the cardiologist gives the all clear, they will schedule the surgery, probably for next week. Afterwards, when she starts radiation, she'll probably move in with me for five weeks as I live closest to the center where she can get treatments.
Patrick had some surgery to relieve the seizures he's been getting due to the enlarging tumors but so far he is hanging in there. There's not alot they can do for him tho.
Anyhooo....thankyou to EVERYONE who is keeping all of them in their prayers. I really appreciate it more than any of you know!

I can promise you I will keep your dearest brother in my thoughts. BUT - do not worry - People are in general avoiding hospitals, they are affraid and so on, but I know that the hospital is the right place for the people in truobbles of such importance. There is acces fot intravenous antibiotics, oxygen supply if necessary, asthma stabilisation and finaly, if he will be seriously in risk of respiratory failure, there are a possibilities to get him asleep, relax his muscles and ventilated the lung to support its functions. BTW. People think it is scary, but it is not. It is life supporting procedure to by- pass the uncomfortable period for the patient suffering from short breath.
OK. I am with you, thinking of you and your Bruce, give him a Slovak warm kiss from me and ensure him, everything gonna be OK. Let me know. I know, it is maybe an expensive trial, but I will send you my cell phone in PM, do not hesitate and call me immediatelly if you will need to.... love jenn
Hey guys..........I swear....if it's not one thing, it's another.
I was wondering if any or all of you could please keep my brother Bruce in their prayers/thoughts.
My brother Bruce has been home this week trying to fight off pneumonia. He has always had bad lungs due to asthma and repeated bouts of bronchitis. His Dr will be making a house visit today and if Bruce isn't any better, he is going to admit him to the hospital. Bruce really sounds horrible and seems to be getting weaker. It's getting downright scary.
Please if you can, send up some prayers and send warm thoughts to Bruce.
Our family has always been so worried about him because of the bad lungs he has had since he was a kid. Pneumonia could easily kill him.
He's the nearest brother to me in age and he's like the male version of me in our family dynamics. Bruce is a rock, always willing to lend a hand to help others. He's really a wonderful guy.
Anyway....THANKS SO MUCH ahead of time.
BTW....My sister Karen was supposed to see the surgeon yesterday but we had so much snow here that the appt got rescheduled for today. Now today, we are in a DEEP, DEEP freeze so I'm sure the appt has been cancelled again. All the schools and many businesses in my area are not open today cuz of the bad weather. I swear.....everything is topsy turvey these days.
