im afraid i would probably lose it and turn into a teenager again and start sreaming like a banshee or else i would be so nervous i would just sit there like a lemon and do nothing, or knowing my luck i would probably end up running  him over, due to being so nervous at seeing him standing there!!xx

i would by HIS drool and make it into the world's best pie! (i own a bakery in case you can't tell by the screen name). it would work,too if i wasn't so selfish and kept it all for myself. i am no martyr. sigh... more time with my trainer smile.gif

Ya know!   I've just come up with a brilliant idea!  We should bottle the stuff......the DROOL all of us profusely produce so easily when seeing/talking/thinking of Nic.

Course......You'd have to be a Nic fan to want to buy the stuff....so.....it might not be a lucrative busines....

Not unless Nic himself, that is, bought up our ELIXERS OF LOVE!

now matter how professional he would be, i am afraid my only options would be to run or drool like any idiot savant in which case i would have to drop dead. besides, he's not really a paramedic- only plays one on tv ha-ha.

Hi TXpiegirl....welcome again!

There are several members who hang out here who have met Nic in various ways and all of them came away from the experience impressed.  I don't think he disappoints his fans.  He's a professional and in fact, has often gone out of his way to meet fans when he has heard they are waiting for him!

Now....if you were to get to know him personally and expect him to be one of the characters he's played on the Big Screen, well....then.....you might be disappointed if you had actually deluded yourself that he was some sort of 'god'. 

People in the arts have known reputations for being a tad....'out there'.  By all accounts Nic is a bit of an eccentric...but hey....some of us appreciate that kind of guy!   LOL!

On the flipside tho....is the truth that sometimes fantasy is better than reality and some people do like to live there.....so hey!  Each to their own, right?

I would want to drive away as quickly as possible. We are not meant to meet our idols as dissapointment is inevitable. Stand on top of a pedestal too long, and you're bound to fall off. OUCH! Still, in that situation I would be proud of myself if I could keep my mouth closed and the drool from running down my chin.

This story is funny....that's why I'm sharing it.  I ran across it tonight doing a blog search for goodies to share with you guys.....The blogger wrote yesterday about something that took place years ago ....read on and get a good laugh...

"I was stuck in traffic on Hollywood Boulevard. I really had to be somewhere and I was cursing that I took that stupid road. As I crawled along, I saw this crowd on bleachers to my left and realized I was driving through a movie premiere. I looked to my right, and

NICOLAS CAGE WAS GETTING OUT OF HIS CAR.


You don't understand. Nicolas Cage is on my list. My list of people I could have an affair with if I ever saw them in real life. I think he is the bomb. And there he is, seven inches away from the passenger door of my Bug. Nicolas Cage turned toward my car, because he was waving to the crowd across the street. Naturally, because I was right there, he glanced into my car. So you know the part where I said you pretend celebrities aren't there?


I SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMED

and grabbed the sides of my head and bounce bounce bounced up and down in my car seat, like those kids did in the Ed Sullivan theater when the Beatles invaded America. Do you think this compelled Nicolas Cage to blow off his movie premiere, get right into my Bug, and drive off into the night with me?


He gave me kind of a concerned look and smiled at the crowd. He was with Lisa Marie Presley. Then the traffic moved forward and he was probably never so glad about anything in his life.


Do you think he might call? I mean, when he reads this, and heaven knows he will, do you think he will understand that I am fully sane and also pretty?
