Thank you so much Rosita for your kind words.  I'm so sorry that you have had to deal with so much pain and loss.  Sometimes it does seem unbearable but then there are moments of 'light' and you realize that the pain will let up.  It may never go away completely, but it doesn't have to bottom you out either, if you don't let it.

Anyhooo......I wrote you in a PM so I won't say anymore here other than thankyou so much!

Dear Bonnie,

I have come back for a week now but I have read about your family right now. I was so sorry to hear about it and I hope everything will be ok.

Frankly speaking I had left to New York because I lost a lot of people in my family and after the last one I was so tired about death that has been surrounding me for more than 10 years. So I'm very close to you and I will pray for you.

I believe in the power of prayer. It helped me not to get crazy all these years and to believe in LIFE despite all sorrows we have to bear. It works, believe me and I hope it will help your sister.
Anyway let's keep in contact and a big hug to you and your family.

Thanks Jenn!   I do believe in the power of prayers and in people's warm/loving/healing energy making a difference in the lives of others....so no...I'm not to surprised.  But I am very thankful!

Hey guys.......i just wanted to update you on my sister Karen.  Today we went to the Oncologist and he seems pretty optimistic.  From the looks of the mammogram and the bit from the biopsy, he thinks they caught her cancer early.  The next step is to see the surgeon and she'll be going in for a lumpectomy.  If, during surgery they deside it's worse than they thought, they will do a full mastecomy.  We won't know exactly when this surgery is because she still have to see the surgeon for the first time.

Anyway.........I thank ALL of you for keeping Karen in your prayers.  I'll update ya's as she goes along on this journey.

Dear Bonnie,

I am sorry to hear this about your familly. You may be sure, your dear will be in my prayers. I belive in the power of prayer. During my lif, i mean proffessional life, I saw several times how strong could be the power of the familly, the power of love and support.
I am not traditional Christian, our familly is visiting the curch at the special occasions - Christamas, Easter, and so on, but my housband believe so much.
He lost both parents when he was a child and he is absolutely hopefull about the God and the things aroud. I saw too many deaths, too many losts..... to believe as strongly as he does, but I am still trying to find HIM - this BIG GUY as you said.

I am with you, do not worry, everything gonna be allright. I promise.

Thanks Gwen.......I really appreciate it.  We're all trying not to jump the gun on thinking the worst at this point with my sister Karen.  It's just that we've just been thru this with Tony, who battled lung cancer heroically until he couldn't fight anymore.  We'll know more when they 'stage' the cancer.  

I do believe in the power of prayer and in miracles..........and I'm not to proud or embarrassed to ask for help when I have a need and know so many good people willing to help........

So thanks to everyone!!

Hey guys.............Um.....I was wondering if there are any of you here who believe in the power of prayer and maybe has an 'in' with the BIG GUY.  

I know I always sound upbeat and cheerful but that is because I always try to look on the up sides of life.  Sometimes tho......reality bites and you're kicked in the gut.   Alot.

Anyhoo....I just got news today that my sister Karen has breast cancer.  Being that she's a long term smoker and a nurse of 50 years, she has a feeling that it's already spread.  She said she hasn't been feeling good for about a year.

My family also was given the news the week before Christmas that a nephew by marriage (Patrick) has six weeks to live.  He's been fighting off inoperable brain tumors for at least five years but it looks like he's losing the fight now.  He married my neice just last year and this is a real blow.  He's only 23.  

Also, that very same week we got that news, my sister in law Margie's mom died.   Our families and especially our mom's were very close.

To top it off, last year my family lost my brother in law Tony to Cancer and my sister, Vivian,  is still reeling from that. 

A few years before that, my mom died and well......my family seems to be ying yanging lately with alot of loss and grief.

So....that's that's why I'm asking for prayers (for all of them).  If any of you can put all of the above people on your prayer lists or send the request to other prayer warriors, I'd appreciate it more than you'd ever know.
