Thanks Jenn......but I don't think my poems are really much of anything. And, cripes....who would be crazy enough to buy them if I published them in a book??? And if I did publish them and dedicated them to Nic.....well....now that would raise some eyebrows, wouldn't it??? LOL!
Seriously tho....I just find that when a poem comes to me that I should take the time to jot it down and then that it's a good thing to 'release' them so that's why I post em' here.
I hope nobody minds. I post them in the Chit Chat section cuz they aren't related to Nic and I'm just feeling the need to share them.

I like this poem, and I am not surprised, the poem was "born" just before the christmas. The poem was nice. I would like to ask you something. Did you published your poems somewhere? or this is only ehmmmm- private issue? I appreciate people with this kind of interest, artist, writers and so on. I think such outcomes /poems, tales, books/ can enriched us, right? This would be nice to publish a book with your name on the bookmark, and title which you considered to be suitable, and dedication to .../maybe to our man, maybe to other persons important in your life/. This is also the best way how to release emotions, it is not good to maintain emotions inside, and maybe suffer from sadness, or enjoy something inside. I think it is better to put them out. Somebody is screaming in the forest to release emotions, you are writing poems. I like this way.
To the dream, I am happy you could understand me, and finally to find a relevance between the dream message and your real life. hugs from europe jenn
Today I could access this site but I couldn't post. I kept getting bumped. Anyhooo.....I spent the day doing Christmasy things and as I did, this poem made its way into my consciousness. Critiques are welcome...
TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE by B.E.N.
Time waits for no one, haven't you heard?
It insidiously mows over the "There's no reason to hurry"
Fueling the false and arrogant presumption
Of there being..... "no worries"
The truth is that passing time can obliterate all sentiment
Leaving in its' wake deep bitterness and sorrow
Only a fool refuses to listen when remembering the old adage
"Do it today, don't put it off til tomorrow"
So.... wake up everyone! Make a real effort
To do what your soul knows should be done
Your loved ones deserve no less from you
And with courage, forgiveness will be won
