RE: Jenn? Another dream........(and anyone else who wants to give it a shot)

Thanks so much Jenn and please thank your Grandma.  Again, much of your interpretation made sense to me.   I AM trying to be strong in certain areas of my life and I'm happy to hear that that I am succeeding on some level.

As for the man in my kitchen....(nicdream).....he hasn't visited me in a long time.  I don't know if he's still reading that book but I sure hope he's not as angry as he was a few weeks ago.   LOL!

Thanks again!

Well, there is an expert analysis:

first - location of your dreams scenarios - your garden, your kitchen, your room - as i said before - you could be safe there, whatever happen in the dream, but if a large proportion of your dreams are located to your private area this mean that you have to be carefull, you have to stay alert, because the drams move you into this save area - so STAY ALERT

second - the plant mean the person or event - and if this was growing plant with flowers, this might be a young subtile person in puberty, just meaning before "having" fruits, or events in very beginning. SO this may represent young woman who does not have kids yet, or the some event at very begging, as well.

The bugs which would like to kill of the plant - in general insects which are working togetehr to build up something - bees, ants - means support, team work or involvement of a lot of persons
but this kind of bugs really could mean the negativity, destruction.

My grandma said that if you were able to stop them, this mean you are strong enough to perform the ideas what are you thinking about now, this is not related necessarily to the dream, to the protection of the plant - but this dream could mean - if you are planing to do something, and you are in doubts - /hamlet : to be or not to be/, so if you are not sure if you will be strong enough to do it - this dream ment - YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO REALIZE YOUR PLANS.

Example - if in this dream the bugs won, this could mean - that you are not so strong to do your plans, or something like this.

Again - my grandma said - this explanation may be confused for us, but maybe clear for you.

Hope you could understand my english.
LOVE jenn,
PS: How is our man in your kitchen, does he help you with something, or not yet, is he still reading the book? LOL

I'm glad you liked the pic.  The purple one simply exploded this year but the pink one is growing a bit more slowly.  There is a third one planted that is called "Jackmanji' and it's a dark purple one but it can take up to three ....years to bloom for the first time!

Oh.....and I'm happy to hear that you're doing much better, Lula.   It seems everyone I know, including members of my own family are going thru one thing or another right now.

Sending warm thoughts to anyone who needs it.......PitaB

Oh ..... That clematis has an exquisite colour....! One of my favourites, kind of a violet-purple.
What a gorgeous gorgeous photo! Thanks Pita. If I was feeling down that would definitely cheer me up! But I'm feeling quite chipper actually!biggrin.gif I do suffer with SAD, but it tends to be October/ November, weirdly things pick up in December way before the days start getting longer!
Thanks for the clarification about the window. I'll have to give it a bit more thought then!. biggrin.gif

Thanks Lula.....I always appreciate hearing your take on my dreams.  And....yeah....they can be mindboggling....lol!
I need to clarify that the vine was first growing outside and then all of a sudden it was growing in a window nook....but not THROUGH the window.  Just in the room.   Also, the purplish/blue flowers were tiny but beautiful.
BTW.....I love Morning Glories and usually plant them in the spring so that by summer they are flowering all over my pergola.  My neighbors will actually call me to tell me how much they love seeing them grow all over the top of the pergola when they are looking outside their second story windows!  I've grown both the lavendar ones and the white ones.  For some reason, Morning Glories always remind me to keep my face and feet firmly facing the sun.
Anyhooo....I'm enclosing a pic of my pergola in full Clematis bloom last spring before my Morning Glories were even planted.  I hope it cheers you and everyone else who might be suffering from the winter blues!

when I read your dreams I become quite engrossed Pita B!
I'm not a dream expert in anyway like Jenn's grandma, but just wanted to share what went through my mind about your dream.smile.gif

The climbing vine-like plant at first seemed to represent all that is good and beautiful in life, with its natural, untamed abundance, but I wasn't sure about the symbolism of it coming into the house through the window. This could represent an intrusion into you private space, home or family life, or your inner space or soul. As if something growing out of control started to intrude somehow. vines can symbolise unruly pests as well as natures energy!
Well the bugs that tried to kill off the plant and kept repeatedly coming back however hard you tried to zap em, could either represent a series of obstacles to the natural flow of life or your life's path, or some kind of elements threatening to ruin, taint, kill off that which has natural life and beauty. When you mentioned the hoover it really reminded me of 'energetic cleaning/cleansing' of a space, I often visualize, amongst other things, a kind of energy hoover sucking up heavy or dark energy, so maybe you were cleaning up the negative energy from your space, represented by the insects! Both the plant and insect elements could relate to feeling out of control especially because the vine plant is in some senses uncontrollable and your insects just kept regenerating. Maybe something to do with patterns repeating and fighting the same battles over again.
I'm so glad the dream ended the way it did, very very beautiful. You know the plant morning glory? Some see it as a weed/pest. But I think it's a very special plant. It is a vine which produces only 1 or occasionally 2, flowers a day, that open in the morning, and start to wilt by the afternoon and die before nightfall. You wake the next morning to another beautiful flower. There is a gorgeous blue variety too. To me the morning glory represents living in the moment and has an important message, to enjoy and experience the moment fully, and to remember how transient and precious life truly is. I'm not sure if that means anything in relation to your dream. Definitely though, it appears that life, all that is good natural and flowing, won out in your dream in the end! The light will always emerge stronger than the darkness.
I am sure that insects in dreams have a universal symbolism too but I'm not sure what! The only insect I know the dream meaning for is the scarab beetle which represents the soul.
Anyway, thats what occurred, thought I'd add it to the mix! smile.gif

Thanks Jenn!   Yes, I remember your dream about being pregnant.  I bet you had really mixed feelings about that possiblity.  I know I would at this point in time.

Anyhoo....thanks for giving the dream some thought.  I am always amazed at the details that I can remember in my dreams.  Seeing big black bugs swarming all over and a vine looking half eaten and dead is a dream I could have done without.  At least there was the one flower that survived, right?   I take that to be a promising sign!

Hello Bonnie,

I will ask her and let u know tomorrow. Is is interesting that you are able to remember the content of dream. I have dreams sometimes, but they are not so concise and usually I do not remember them at all. Only fragments. Do you remember my dream where I felt the baby movement inside me? I was affraid about beeing pregnant again, and believe that or not I performed the baby tests and visit my colleague for USG examination. The tests were negative, os course.

hugs jenn

Hey Jenn..........(and anyone else who would like to give this dream a shot)...
I was wondering if you could ask your Grandma what this dream might represent?  She (and you) really gave me quite a good dream interpretation last time I posted a dream.  This one doesn't feature Nic in it....so.......it may not be so interesting to this group as the last.....
Here goes.....the dream started outside where I was strolling thru a garden.  I saw a tall, beautiful vine growing that had lovely pale blue/purplish small flowers all over it.  Next thing, I am inside a house where the vine is now growing inside in a window bay.  I walk up to the vine and see that it has black bugs all over it, even 'nests' of bugs and it looks like it's dying.  I then am dressed in protective clothing as I am spraying the vine to kill the bugs.  Next thing there are bugs all over....it's HORRIBLE....they are spreading all over the room like ****roaches.....and I'm trying to spray all of them to kill them.  Now, there are dead bugs everywhere so I  bring in a big vacumn cleaner to clean up all the dead carcasses.  I then cut the vine almost down to the bottom to get rid of the dead woody parts of the vine.   Lastly, I cart everything outside.....the piles of dead bugs, the dead wood.......and then I go back in to the room and to my amazement I now see ONE lone flower bravely blooming at the base of the vine.   End of dream!
