can someone also tell me the name of the movie and the year of releasing in which nicholas cage won at the lotery and his wife takes it all and meanwhile he falls in love with someone else and he gives money and a hot meal to a bum which turns out to be a reporter and writes in the news paper that he's a good samaritan and at the end they receive many envelopes with money.
I finally figured it out. It's Ben Affleck and the name of the movie is Reindeer Games! It must have been some time last December that I had watched it. It just finally came to me the other night! I remember it having a strange name but I was so sure that it was Nicolas Cage! Go figure?!! Anyway, thanks again for your help and if you get the chance, watch this movie. It came out in 2000. I just ordered the DVD for a $1.99 and should be getting in the mail tomorrow. Have a great holiday season!

Nicolas Cage starred in a movie that I watch on HBO or Showtime about 2 years ago. It was about to prisoners that we're going to be released and Nicolas Cage's cellmate died and he took his identity because there was a girl that had been writing to this guy and was waiting for him to be released but she had never met him, so Nicolas Cage pretended to be him, since the other guy died. After his release, he hung out with this girl and unwillfully got involved in a scheme to rob a casino because (the guy he was posing as) had worked at this casino as a security guard and these people wanted to use him to rob the casino. It was very very good and I'd like to see it again but don't remember the name and can't find it anywhere online on any filmography sites on Cage. Does anyone remember this movie?
