You explained yourself wonderfully...I neglected to notice the link and thought it was just underlined text, how silly of me, LOL. And what a cool find, I mean I had no clue they were experimenting with this! Can you imagine the things we could do if we got a hold of an electromagnetic cloak...

And you´re right Lula, for Nic it would be better to just disappear for long stretches of time to reload his energy an strength...

I'm sorry I've been so quiet, I've been very poorly and struggling with my eyes.

You are very clever, it is my fault for not explaining myself well!!

What I mean is, that my wish gift for Nic, the cloak of invisibility, could soon become a reality, because they have discovered how to do it in real life!

If you click at the link at the bottom of my previous post, you will see the article about it.

No, I don't wish for Nic to disappear at all, rather that he had a way of becoming invisible and anonymous if/ when he chose to!

so it's more about him being able to do some stuff and be liberated from the public eye from time to time!

I wonder what Nic would do with an invisibility cloak? For the rest of us we might be tempted to do things we might not be able to otherwise do, I wonder if he or other celebrities would choose to be able to do 'normal' things like taking a walk or going shopping without being recognized!

Hmm not sure I explained it any better this time round, lol.

Lula it´s so great to hear from you again!! We missed your posts very much... Excuse me, but I´m not very smart... What do you mean when you say that your wish could become a reality these days? He´ll go into invisible mood soon? That would be a good move health-wise... Although we would miss him terribly of course... After all we´re addicts and badly need our Nic fix, LOL

You are right Mara, this should be a gift, and a life long one, rather than something for just 24 hours, with me tagging along!

This cloaking device is a very practical gift for anyone in the public eye, I'm sure Nic wouldn't want to vanish entirely, but I feel there must be times he wishes he were invisible and had total anonymity!

So what better than a cloak of invisibility to swoosh, superhero style, around him, and his loved ones, to make him become invisible at will!

And......it looks like my wish, which may emerge from science fiction, may soon become a reality.....!

Thanks, Jenn and PITA B, for saying how nice my place is and how to relax here. It's true I'm from the city born from Baltimore, Md. a big city then married a man who always wanted a nice farm place. We live on an 5 acre places over the years until we moved up here. I do so much farm work and such that I hardly have time for house cleaning much but I do keep it nice when I can. If Nic ever came here I make darn sure I have it better for him too. It's beautiful area and our mountains are wonderful to look at all year long. The trees we have change colors for fall season and they are breath taken to see. When we have snow here and it's on the mountains it is lovely to look at as well. We have a ski resort here as well that is used all winter long. So much to see and do and we have a lot of historic places as well and many flea markets during the spring and summer months to see and do. We have nice festivals as well here. Here in PA county we have our wonderful Maple Syrup you can buy. It's made up here. If Nic ever needed a place to come and just relax and get away from the big city life it's here!

Wow Nancy....your home sounds like such a natural and pure one. I bet you sleep really good at night after all that fresh air and with working with your animals. It would be good for Nic! :)

I work in the city, but I have a propetry also in village, and I LOVE it very much. Such peace, silence and so on. My kids love it too. I am sure, if NIC would visit you, he will enjoy it.

Hi all,
I like all your answers here. Yes, Nic needs much REST! From his hected life. For 24 hours.
If I had Nic here where I live he will get that much needed rest by just being on our farm in Rural Somerset county, Rockwood, Pa. We have the beautiful Alleganian mountains here. I work on our farm taking care of all our animals. We have Nubian goats, Dexter cows, chickens, some barn cats a dog and my house cat. You can feel safe here as well as not being disturbed at all. Nic can even go into Somerset where we shop at and no one or not many will even bother to aproached him at all. Or if they do recognize him, they will be very polite and talk to him some but that is all they will do. It's a far different kind of life here than in any city. I too before I was married live in Baltimore, Md. all my life and at different parts of the city. Now we are happier here and love the scenery. Nic will find some peace here and he may love it for 24 hours to do nothing but sightseeing. I would like to show him around with the time we have together. Then thank him for coming and give him a nice hug!

LOL! I hate to admit it....but my passport is out of date so I can't be of any real help to you. But! There are lots of European and British members here who would be willing to help you, I'm sure! Good luck dear! Let me know how it goes and if Nic responds well to the prescribed treatments. :)

Hey Jenny.....this is a wonderful idea! Kidnap him in an ambulance and then under your superb Doctoring......Knock him out cold for a few days!

And when he's under anesthesia, can we forcefeed him high caloric foods as well?

Me thinks some rest, some food, and lots of loving Nurses attending to him (.....oh my this group would fight tooth and nail for that job)....and he should be back on track in no time!

if you really would like to force our man to sleep - an uninterrupted 24 our sleep - I have a quite good tool.
General anaesthesis. I promise I will be carefull, I will monitor all of his vital functions and definitely will return him into the real life after the 24 hours. LOL.

Hey Irish..........Nic said in an interview years ago that he did that movie to make money since he had just bought a house he needed to pay for! To me that sounds like even he asked himself afterwards just why he did that movie....LOL!

Judging from the latest pics seen of him I would offer him 24 hours of uninterrupted sleep! I wouldn't ask him one question or make him do anything. Just sleep. I would guard the doors, rip out the phones, turn off the cell phones, and no computers! Just sleep.

I would force him to watch "Fire Birds" 12 times in a row and then ask him what the heck he was thinking when he made that film? He's so much better than that. No really, I would watch some of his films (with him) and ask him what he was thinking at the time, how he approached the acting challenge etc.

Hello LULA, it is really cool, I think that NIC ´d chose this one day and night, cus I think that anonymity could be nice for him, as well as day and night with you. LOL.

It is amazing what human fantasy is capable of. And actually I think that we all need a everyday drop of fantasy. Sure Nic does it to. Maybe he is dreaming about to be /sometimes/ invisible, anonymous and to do just the simple thinghs /shopping, driving, cinema visit, or walk or trip without all of this fame around.

I would probably waste my whole 24 hours with Nic trying to get into the right frame of mind to meet him appropiately... I mean, I would constantly make mental notes to self: don´t sweat, don´t drool, don´t stare, don´t make obvious cliched die hard fan remarks, don´t faint, don´t show him I´m star struck, don´t sound like I´m too intrusive or potentially stalking, don`t stumble, don´t stammer, don´t let him go away without a token of my appreciation, don´t .... don´t ... aaaah, the 24 hours have passed and I din´t make a single move and he nearly died of sheer boredom!! Whew!

I'd rather spend the 24 hours in his Bath castle. I think just hiking around the grounds there, perhaps having a picnic would be incredibly relaxing. Plus.....wow.......I'd love to see if it had a dungeon or a huge stone wine cellar in which to ramble about.

Ahhhh...........

I wonder if he'll be spending Christmas there again? Talk about a fairytale setting! Wow.......
