You´re correct! He bought the Neidstein castle on July 19, 2006.
It´s true that the restoration works are taking very long, but then the building needs a complete renovation, from the ceiling down to the pipes. Appartenly he´s lovingly preserving an ancient historical and very alluring building, rather than preparing to move in soon...
Time will tell if he chooses to live there part time I guess. I´m under the impression he has already chosen his English castle of Midford to spend most of his time, and Neidstein is destined to be his summer retreat. But it´s just my thoughts on the matter, I haven´t had time to ask him about it, LOL!

If I´m understanding your question correctly, you´re asking when are Nic & family occuping the Neidstein Castle in Germany... According to the German press, the castle is still being renovated, and the works will last for many months....
Apparently Nic is in no hurry to inahbit it right now, he just wants to restore a beautiful historic building to spend part of his summers there...
