Well......Nic may be a great guy for all we know.....but he is an artist. And artists.....well.....they tend to be really absorbed in their art and themselves. Everything else tends to come last in an artists life. Now.....if a kid has been born with the same temperment, he might grow up and upon maturing, understand why the parent was the way they were while they were growing up. But if the kid doesn't have an artists temperment, they'd grow up really angry and bitter at always coming in last in the artists life.
The thing is.....artist or no artist.....once you bring a child into this world.....the kid HAS to come first in every decision you make. You HAVE to look at everything you do that will affect the child FROM THE CHILD'S VIEWPOINT. That is.....you do.....if you want to raise a happy kid who grows up to be a healthy functioning adult.

But here's what's true... Who's to say Kal is getting a better life while their together? You're right, it's their life and we have absolutely know idea what sort of life this kid is living or not living.
I will say this... I hear Nic is truly an incredible guy, a great conversationalist and a lover of art and culture... You gotta love a guy like this!! Kal is lucky that he's got a father that appreciates other cultures and environments AND makes it a point to surround his son with diversity and a lust for life... WHAT A GUY!!
Well....whatever the truth is....it's their business, right? My only concern would be for Kal. Parents....sadly....can so screw up their kids lives by what they do or don't do in a marriage.
The kids ALWAYS have to come first because the truth is.....No kid....no matter what anyone wants to believe, ever survives a bad family life or a divorce unscathed.
It just doesn't happen.
Heck....adult life is tough even for the lucky kids whose family life while growing up was like the Beaver family!

Hmmmm... "little bambino?" I don't want to start any rumors and I've always taken this bit of news with a grain of salt but I have a friend who's close to Nic's brother and he said Nic put the halt on Alice having kids right now... He made it sound like his age and the relationship between the two were the culprit. But who knows... she'll probably be pregnant by next week ! I haven't met anyone yet who likes Alice but I think she's a lovely person and she was very nice when I saw her on the set of World Trade Center... Quiet but very sweet and very pretty.
You mean he's attracted to the real docile and domestic types, Tracy? LOL!
It's good to hear that the Mrs Cage is around tho. Means Nic is taking this marriage seriously and is willing to put into it what it takes to make it a success.
Maybe we'll hear of a new bambino on the way soon? Twood be good for little Kal to grow up with a sibling who can relate to growing up in the type of lifestyle he is growing up in.

Actually, it's possible. Nic hasn't taken Mrs. Cage to any of his movie premieres lately or publicity gigs. I believe the last time Nic posed with Mrs. Cage was when he took her to the Japan premiere of National Treasure II (November 2007.) I was disappointed to see he didn't take her to the USA premiere or any of the publicity stops for NT II or Bangkok Dangerous and he's been seen out in Las Vegas sans Mrs. Cage. However, I'm hearing Mrs. Cage is definitely around and goes out with Nic all the time... The camera's just haven't captured the two together recently. Though I hear she's really handling the home life stuff which is what Nic loves about her :)
