I'm sure I'll be around. I just won't be around with the frequency I am known for. And yes, I was referring to the Cagefactor Nicinfo site. It used to be a really active site but it's very quiet these days. And that's a shame! BTW, you can belong to both sites if you want to! I'm sure they'd love to get new Nicfans over there!
And Mara? You're already doing a phenomenal job! The torch is passed to you, sweets!

Bonnie you´re going to be sorely missed...sniff. Hope you can take some free time now and then to say hi and yak a bit with us fellow Nicsters and friends alike... This forum won´t be the same without your caring alertness, your perceptive insight and your witty banter... You really know how to make somebody feel welcome and listened to and have never taken anybody for granted. And that´s really sweet and appreciated, and I think I speak for all when I say that we feel very thankful to you for your efforts. We have grown very very fond of you all these years.
Hope you can expand your horizons and get hired by people who know they have a gem among them and get to appreciate you the way you deserve... And that your future tasks are rewarding and you don´t ever, never loose your creativity and your humor....

I'm with Mara. I know that she'll be a very good moderator, as we already said in the topic "Congratulations Mara", but i hope you jump in sometimes. I've known all of you for a short time and I really had fun here. I really hope this forum will grow. Regarding the sister site you Bonnie speaks about, you refer to Cagefactor? I really didn't understand what happened to this site, but I hope it will have a reival sooner or later. I was glad I saw Cagefactor write on the forum again. I was glad I saw Cagefactor's posts here lately.

So....um....okay then......I mentioned this about two weeks ago and I just wanted to again put out a 'HELP' sign to all of you....
In about two weeks time I'm going to have to step waaaaay back in my posting here on the site due to returnign to school and hopefully.....keep your fingers crossed......a job after that.
I've always taken my moderator duties seriously and proudly and I've looked at my Nic fandom as a sort of very FUN hobby and um....I'm the kind of person that when I take something on.......I do it wholeheartedly and responsibly.....so.....I guess that what I'm trying to say is that..............
I'm really HOPING that ALL OF YOU.....old timer fans and newcomers alike will......step up to the plate and keep this place rocking as I slowly move my focus onto other things in my life.
I'm hoping that I won't have to completely disappear from the site as I've made some wonderful friends along the way in the Nicworld. But! The truth is.....I will have to back off quite a bit from posting here AND in looking for tidbits to entertain all of you with.
So.........that's where the CALLING ALL TROOPS bit comes into play!
What I do as a moderator on this fansite isn't hard at all. Basically, I've been lucky to be a stay at home mom who can simply leave my laptop up and running in my kitchen as I go about my housework and chores and I get 'alerts' from different news sites when new Nic news become available. I also do a simple Google check a couple times during the day. All I do is go to Google.com, type in Nics name, go to news.....sort it by date and new stuff comes up. I do the same to the Google blogs. Then, I occasssionally will do a search on the Imdb site (not a particularily postitive place but one that occassionally has some tidbit of new Nicnews) and folks! That's about it.....what I do to find stuff for this site. It's not hard!
The truth is....whenever I find anything, I simply post it...and it takes maybe a total of a half hour a day to do it. Anyone can do it! It's not hard so please....don't be shy or afraid to pitch in to a very worthy cause....Nic! LOL!
Of course, the truth is.....I also think of this place as being a social outlet so when a fun topic comes up or people seem willing to yak, I will join in and try to even keep the conversations going. Thats what this fan site is about! It's a TALK FORUM! Right? Right!
So.............alrighty now.......God........I'm long winded, aint I?
What I am trying to say and ask here....is that...........well.....I am hoping that the Cagefactor TROOPS (that means all of you) will jump in and pick up the slack when I'm no longer around.
Thats it. Period!
And hey guys...........look at it this way.............if I finally SHUT up on the site, it might give YOU guys more oxygen so that you can TALK more, right? LOL!
