Lets hope that Nick sees OUR wonderful UPBEAT, And POSITIVE WEBSITE so he knows that his TRUE FANS Like US here on this website Cagefactor makes him happy and have positive attitude. I hope that Nick knows about us too so he knows we all love the true actor he is and more. Nancy

I wouldn't call Imdb a Nic fansite, its a huge place, where many actors are discussed. I do not visit it any more. But Imdb is good for up to date information on Nic's filmography and future projects.

And I'll let ya in on a very old known fact.......Nic....way back in 2002 or thereabouts mentioned the Toncas fanclub in an interview and the Cagefactor Nicforum is a SPIN OFF of the Toncas club so.....I'd hazard a guess that Nic indeed knows about this forum and quite possibly even once in a while mosies on bye to read what we have to say about him.

I also cannot fathom the motivation of posting hate on any forum. I don't visit Imdb any more for that reason, I'm really sensitive to energy and there is a mix of strange to nasty that I don't want to fill my soul with over there.
There is something in the idea of the 'law of silence', that I'm learning at the moment. Choosing not to feed negative energy.
I'm in total agreement with everything that has been said by you all, so beautifully, in this thread.
I think you know Triple B that I too believe thoughts carry ENERGY, in fact I believe everything is energy, and we are all interconnected. However, I also believe the highest vibration will always transmute darkness into light, and love energy is, in my mind, the highest vibration of all (not the 'in love' romantic kind, the beautiful quiet shining light of an open heart and soul all loving for all life). So even if the negativity gets the loudest voice at times, the positive and genuine love energy coming from us all, and from the people in Nic's life, I believe does as you say Triple B combat the negativity.
I also really do get the impression that Nic has an understanding of energy, and knows how to energetically protect himself and also he appears to have huge inner resources, awareness and strength at being able to turn negativity into positivity, and therefore his energy will only attract to him directly that kind of positive energy.
Oh and if he keeps wearing the crystals that will be helping too!
All he has to do is visualize that 'cloak of invincibility' that he mentioned in that interview about filming in the military coup, or the cloak of king arthur, completely surrounding his energy field(aura)! Many a knight and hero have suffered negativity, that's why they wear cloaks, and shields! Lol. And as you say Rosita, live in castles!
I could go on and on (even more!) about energy, but just want to finally say, again, love energy is the highest vibration of all, when you are just filled with all the beauty, there's no room for the dark stuff or negativity that people put on you, so if Nic keeps himself filled with and surrounded by love, which I'm sure he does, I'm sure he's doing fine! Oh one final thought, sometimes the darkness is the way to the light and you can't know one without the other

You truly speak with an enlightened voice. I couldn´t agree more with what you said. We were taught not to "waste time" in really listening to other people, paying attention to the simpler yet more meaningful things in life, living for the moment, discovering the pleasure of enjoying peaceful thoughts. It´s hard to begin to think by ourselves and take the least travelled road. But I think you´re on the right track, Rosita... Congratulations. For many people, it takes a lifetime to become aware of the things you have figured out in your post...
Dear Mara, after your message I gave a look at Imdb.com and I read Cage's board. I understood perfectly what you are thinking about. They even discussed about his sons' names!!!!! I'm with you too, I think that "Some little more R-E-S-P-E-C-T wouldn´t harm the world" as you said. Fortunately this world is full of people who knows the meaning of respect but some other don't have any clue of it. These are very frustrated people, who waste their time writing so many offensive things instead of playing football or doing any sports or chatting with friends. I've just came back from a wonderful 3-day conference in a beautiful place near the sea here in Italy. There were so many lecturers who spoke about the importance of self-esteem, realtionships, really listening and respecting other people's differences and values. How hard these things are, how easy is the war instead of keeping peace. Peace means to go deeply into the human soul and to explore our own heart. But this takes time, too much time, we don't have any, we're always in a hurry, we are too busy to see our contradictions (as you said when you quoted Dickens). The war instead is easier, it's very short, we just need to trust our first impressions and since we consider ourselves heroes, we are sure our first impressions are a reality, we don't have doubts, we know everything ..... ........ and we lose the essence of life....
Anyway I think that Nic, like all celebs, got used to such people who like to hit him with disgusting "food"..... maybe that's why he chose a castle to live in: to defend themselves against the Barbarian invasions!!!!!

Hey Mara.................I'm at the library in Michigan since I'm away from home for the weekend. Anyhooo.....I needed to check emails and I was just gonna check this site to make sure all was going well on it...but I wasn't planning on signing in....UNTIL....I read your rant.
And Girl.............I'm with you! I cannot for the life of me fanthom why Nic seems to garner so much hatred and negativity from people who I would assume are strangers to him. I mean.........geesh! What the heck?
The thing that bothers me is that thoughts and words are ENERGY and energy is unseen. Focused energy, in my mind's eye, does find it's target and in believing this....I would have to say that I worry that Nic does 'feel' the negative energy directed his way from all the idiots out in the world. I also believe that Nic is a highly sensitive man and if he knew about all of this negativity (and come on....how could he escape it totally?) that it would bother him, hurt him and affect him.
Anyway...........as an admirer of the man I try to send him focused good energy and good thoughts every day. Call me nutty, but I hope he feels it on some level and that it combats all the hatred directed his way.

The Net is becoming very creepy place to visit, and especially as regards Nic. I just had to flag a post at Imdb.com and a vid at YouTube as inappropiate, offensive, libellous, and whatnot. Of course both nasty pranks were Nic related. To have to read those things, one after the other, on a beautiful Saturday morning is the pits, let me tell ya.
I wonder what the man himself must be feeling like about this... I guess he must have learnt to let it all just wash over him after so many years of hate directed towards him. It gets to a point where it has nothing to do with negative reviews and it gets personal.
I cannot tolerate certain things, or better put, the malicious intention behind them. One thing is making fun of some celeb,I even find some level of amusement when the jokes are witty and don´t mean any offense, but I can´t stand it when some anonymous cowards are constantly difamating said celeb in the meanest possible way. Think of his family (his kids) reading all this wicked crap. Maybe I´m becoming a prissy, I don´t know...
The reason for all this hatred is beyond me. I understand he´s not everybody´s cup of tea, but... Why has become it fashionable to endlessly talk mean, and I mean real MEAN, about him? Idle hours could be spent in a more constructive way, methinks... For instance talking about the things you love, not the ones you hate with a passion fit for Mephistopheles himself, LOL!
