Marta I´m late (as usual) in my answer to your query. I can see Lula helped you and you could upload the pics successfully. What I usually do is, save them in my hardisk and then use the "Attach image" box below to upload them. I´m too computer clumsy to use other methods...

I´m so glad you could have such a special Birthday present... I bet you will always remember this particular birthday with a smile on your face!

As for meeting Nic... "I have" so, it wasn't awkward nor did it feel uncomfortable, nor did he look uncomfortable... He seemd very grateful and very welcoming...

But again, we were at a function and on set so I truly believe it depends upon the environment and setting in which you have the opportunity to meet him.

Had he been on the street alone, I would definitely say "hi!" But if he were ever with his family, I would never approach him.

I'm sorry but I JUST saw this post Tracy! I met him the summer he was filming The WickerMan. He wasn't married when I met him but then married a few days later. I believe it was in July? Not sure who the other chick was. Maybe just someone in his posse? If he has such a thing! lol

It has to be a hard balance to achieve.....knowing that your fans and the press are the ones who promote your career and yet, wanting to simply be a normal JOE.

Hard as it will be to believe it, this is the truth...even tho I've been one of his most ardent and vocal fans on this site for years now, if I saw him in public, I wouldn't approach him. I'd smile if I caught his eye but that would be it.

What about the rest of you?

You know, the cool thing about Nic is he equally protects his privacy the best way he can... When he's out in public, he understands, he's "on"... Many times, he will stop for photos and autographs... But there are times especially when he's with his family, he's really protective of that situation and wants others meaning the paparazzi to respect his private time with his family. Sometimes, he does sign and stop for photos (as we've seen in YouTube shots) but for the most part, I think he's very fair to fans, onlookers and paps.

. As to the question... "yes", I've met Nic a couple times in the past - onset and off... He is very nice and very handsome in person and he definitely loosens up after a few drinks - BUT WHO DOESN'T!!!!!!

I really didnt' want to say this....but since someone else brought it up, I will.

I know that it's fun for our International members to talk to each other in their native tongue or to practise their linguistics here but to tell you the truth....it is kind of unfair to the rest of us for entire threads to be held in a language we can't read.

I realize that some people have a hard time reading/writing English but the truth is anyone checking out this site can get the idea of what people are saying in English because most everyone is actually taught a bit of English these days. Americans are seriously lacking in this regards, I admit. Basically, we're lucky if we learn Spanish, French or German in our school systems.

But...the thing is....there are conversations now being held in languages other people can't understand at all on this site. And I'm not just talking about me or other English speaking members. I'm talking about the members from Japan, Russia, Thailand.....too.

Is it possible for those who want to practise their language skills with each other to do it in Private Messaging or in private emails to each other and to keep this site readable to the majority of its readers?

When it comes to Nic news and conversations here on this Nic forum.....all of us would like to be able to talk to each other. Thanks again.

Ich hatte etwas davon gelesen das die Filmszenen die in Ungarn gedreht werden , in irgendeinem Studio gedreht werden sollen.
Hast du eine Ahnung wo sowas bei euch in Ungarn ist ??????

Heute ist 26. November, und Ich habe siet 6 Tagen nichts gehört über Nicolas. Am 20. November war er in Wien. Er mus bei uns sein, aber ich hatte keine Nachrichten gehört.-(

Er ist noch in Österreich (Golden Egg), ich glaube er kommt in 26. November nach Ungarn. Ich bin sehr nervös, ich möchte unbedingt treffen mit Ihn. Viele haben mit Ihm in Ungarn getroffen, und Er war immer nett mit die Fans!!

He hadn't married Alice yet when we met. But he was there with another lady that was I guess a friend. I kinda met him on accident so I wasn't prepared with a camera at the time. I did see the same lady the next day out shopping with another lady and took a few shots actually because I really liked her hair!
After that week, it was announced that he married Alice. And the strange thing was that I had heard they had just broken up a few weeks before that! He moves quick!

He did the filming in British Columbia actually. It was on Saturna Island, Bowen Island, Upper Nicola, Merritt, and Vancouver. He was actually taking a side trip to Alaska with his boat, since we're so close to BC (this is what he told me himself while shopping for art in Alaska). But he was filming even while his boat was docked in Alaska. Sorry for the confusion guys!

i personaly would love to meat him. not to interviw him or any thing because actors get enough of people trying to do that, but to just sit down and talk to him for a day would be very awesome.
