The American Conservatory of Music...Maybe if I was'nt so stupid wrapped up with Hungarian Cocaine dealers & Chris Issak, I could have maybe walked down the block and enrolled in some classical music lessons and maybe would have had the privilage of meeting Mr. Cage ...In my alcohol class today, This guy , mind you, trying to make conversation, Asks me, "So, How was your week?" I said " Ok" I have been watching alot of my favorite movies actually...." He says Oh, Nicholas Cage..." Great actor.. I just saw 8 mm last night. I said , So did I. Anyway, To make a long stroy short, He said that he met Nicholas CAge years ago and he was very cool
He went on to say he was very nice or whatever.... I said" I wonder if he would just sign my book ? and he said " I think he would" .And then we watched "Man on Fire" for the next 3 hours. .....
From the first chapter, Of course, I just love it... I loved reading about how his life wasn't perfect. I loved reading about his family & San Francisco...My hometown... God, Where the hell was I , working in a coffee shop less than a block away from the music school he went to. I vagely remember that I was a waitress owned by a very unhappy Chinese couple and They would just yell at each other in Chinese every fr**((cking day ) until I couldn't handle it and walked out I think..Anyway, Our Lover boy was going to the music school less than a block away at the same time........I just don't remember the name of the school. but I never would have known it then . Too stupid. Besides, Chris Issak was playing south of market.
You....Ms Corelli, truly are a Nic nut (just teasing)! In your honest opinion, which of the three books would you recommend reading if someone is looking for only one book on Nic?
I'll take that as a compliment Bella! Lol.
All three are great reading but I would definitely reccommend:
Nicolas Cage - The man behind Captain Corelli.
It's a much thicker book than the other two and has more reading plus there are some lovely pics including a black and white Pic of Nic looking every inch the stud muffin in his tux and clutching his Oscar!

I read that book once many moons ago. Most of what you will read was taken staight out of old interviews and such, but at least it's all in one place, right? Plus, the pics are cool. Enjoy the read!

I just got back from Barnes & Nobles and picked up the book entitled " Nicholas Cage" Hollywood's wild Talent by Brian J. Robb.
I figure if I am going to get pulled over for driving on a suspended license, well, at least I got the book I ordered last week and I will have something to read if I get caught....
Has anyone else read it? It has some nice photographs from what I can see.. Black & White.
