Of course I have seen his earliest films...those ones produced by his uncle, Ford Coppola are you refering to, aren't you? He was a great actor then, too...I didn't tell he wasn't, but I don't really appreciate comercials...becouse most of them are...comercial:)
Of course there are some of them are really funny, brilliant...
But his talent is more than a comercial actor's talent. I think you accept that, too. That's why we are fans

doing commercials in japan isn't viewed as degrading or a low status thing an american actor doing a commercial over there is in a way of saying you've made they don't have joe shmoes do thier ads and they pay pretty well and no matter the actor they all have a cheese factor it's just a different commercial so don't be embarresed be proud they only have top us stars pitch stuff for them

I think the japanese commercials are fun.  mr. Cage has been an actor since the early 1980's  have you ever seen his earlier movies of the 1980's.  you should see them. he was 17 when he started acting in movies.

I'm not very proud of him for that, but everybody have to begin fron the bottom, and I hate jurnalists for refreshing people's memory...
But now he is a very good actor, a wellknown one, which we should appreciate for his talent. I think he obtained everything by hisself...I love him

seems that Cage did some japanese commercials looks like it was during the mid 1990's time-  they are funny he is singing in one of them press weblink
