You're welcome, I hope you got to see it. I went and bought it after renting it because I just had to own it. Its not like his typical movies of later in his career, but he is so cute in it and so natural. He seemed so happy while making it and I bet that may have been his first on screen kiss scene. There is also an interview with Nic and Martha Coolidge the director of Valley Girl shot in 2003 at the Viper Room in L.A. They talk about the movie all these years later, its cool.
I rented and watched Valley Girl earlier tonight. I haven't seen in it in a long time and I forgot how cute he was in it. He was only 19 in 1983 when it came out. He was Sooooo cute in it! And his eyes were very blue and I don't think that they made blue contacts back then, so blue IS his natural eye color. He was so adorable in that movie
