One thing I learned when my daughter was born was--sleep when SHE slept..I had emergency surgry 10 days after she was born and caught up a ton!
I am sure like all parents they are tired but on a high you only get holding the baby you made together. I imagine they are one happy threesome right now. YEAH!

If they looked tired before, wow, we all know how hard it is having to get up all night in the beginning with the little ones. It is very exhausting. Must be hard for Nic and having to work on top of it, but I'm sure he's just thrilled having a "little guy" around all over again. I wish him well.
Well, my flight coming home was delayed so I, like the 200 others, bought magazines. Nic and Alice are in many of the weekly ones: Us, People, etc... with the same pic of them coming out of a movie theatre (Corspe Bride) in CA on Sept 30th. Both looking very tired. And I can't imagine flying 4 days before birth to NY - uck! How uncomfortable!
In People I think there may be a hard pack of smokes in his pocket. I know he's been trying to quit, but many of his roles ask him to smoke and this is a stressful time for him to give up a comfort habit. Don't anyone think of taking my yoga or chocolate!!
One article mentioned Nic talking about kids " I've been doing this for 15 years, so I'm ready." and how he likes the fact that there's no barrier between you and a kids' heart. Another mag said Nic was watchful of Alice during prenancy and filming Wicker Man in Vancouver by spending his free time taking her out on their boat. The rest was all talk of Kal-El's name (the usual stuff) and how Nic won't comment on it.
I don't have alot to do right now when I get off of work, and I always watch the Entertainment shows to hear anything I can about Nic. I keep a tape in the VCR just so I can catch anything that I can. (I really am a totally devoted fan).....lol or devoted "harlot". Either way, I am devoted to him.
He was lonely... that's so sad. But it's good that he acknowledged it and was able to use his emotions to channel his feelings. I know what it's like to feel lonely, so I can kind of relate to what he meant. Thanks for sharing, Cheripits. I'm always too busy to watch TV so I never keep up on this kind of stuff.
I taped it. It was on Thursday's (10/06) early evening edition of "E" News.
I was a bit taken aback by how subdued he was for just having a new baby. He may have just been tired.
He was promoting "Weather Man" and was saying that he was lonely after just going through a divorce and this movie parelled his real life. That it was good to make this movie so he could do something positive with all those negative feelings. That doing the movie was much better then sitting at home feeling depressed.
He said that his fame was harder on those around him then it was for him. That he appreciates his fans and knows that when he meets someone that he respects/admires that he hopes to have a (can't think of the word), but in essences he wants it to be a good experience. So he says he goes out of his way to sign autographs, and take photos with his fans, etc because he wouldn't be where his is today without them.
BUT that "those around him" do not understand this, and say, when he is going out to dinner and a stranger joins them (to speak to Nic) it's gets very complicated.
You're right Heather, he may even stop to help us back up on our feet (after we fall all over him). So when are we leaving????
Didn't see it but will turn it on tonight and hope for a repeat. When did he give the interview? What was the setting? And look, he's giving us, his harlots, permission to come on out to visit!! He may not even step over us when we faint HA!
