I'm lucky that there is a place down here that "re-cycles" tapes and DVD's. People sell them to this place when they are done watching them and you can go in and buy them.
They have a big reference book there of all the stars and their movies. I have wiped out ALL of their Nic Flix!!! I have even been able to replace some of my VHS for DVD's.
Next one I need is "Lord of War" and I will be right on track again.
I'm looking for more but some are really hard to find, even to rent. Suggestions? Ebay doens't have much, local rental places are out except for Matchstick Men which I already have....
I know that on most weekends when I am looking for something to watch, Nic seems to dominate the movies. I have never seen any other actor/actress that has as many movies on in a short period of time. I love it when I can spend my weekend just watching "Nic Flix" on TV. It's funny that I will watch them over again on TV when in fact I have a collection of every movie he has ever been in as of this date....lol
When you look at the numbers it is amazing the power of Disney..look at how good NT did in comparission. My daughter watches Disney a lot and I know they promoted NT to death not once but twice...when it was first released and when it came out on video.
When you look at the numbers you also have to wonder if Hollywood will get the idea that a great family movie CAN be a good draw. Thanks for the link it was very eye opening. Is it no wonder NT 2 has been announced.
Wow, thanks for the information! It's intriguing to see which movies did better than others. I'm surprised his movies aren't more popular than that... not to say that they're not popular, but I guess because I'm such a huge fan of his work, I always have this idea in my head that all of his movies grossed really, REALLY big when they premiered, LOL. I'm going to look at the track record of some other actors to compare.
