Great interview, he comes across very authentically and assuredly about it...and he has every right to feel a self integrity because he played that role so brilliantly. 'Existential' is such a good word for this film...maybe I would apply it almost to Kick Ass as well in the sense that you need to enjoy it for its own sake rather than deconstructing it morally. 'It just is'.
