I've managed to avoid choosing a favourite in all these years, but Raising Arizona has a big place in my heart, because it was the first Nic film i saw.... and having been a fan ever since, it really had to have been an awesome film! But so are all the others...so I can't place it above them!
Hope you enjoyed Windtalkers and Snake Eyes Meg. Of the two I prefer Snake eyes..it's another underrated Nic film, like Lord of War! Have some favourite scenes running in my mind's eye now...won't give too much away but the one at the beginning, which was famously one long take, and one particular scene near the end...when you watch it you'll know the one I mean!

Went to rent a movie last night ( got It's Complicated, and enjoyed it a lot, very funny, beautiful setting) and found two of Nic's movies for sale that I don't have, Snake Eyes ( never seen, going to watch it this afternoon) and the Director's Edition of Windtalkers. I have seen this before but I am excited to get this edition for all the special features. It looks really interesting. They were both very reasonably priced so I am very excited and pleased with my purchases. I also watched Raising Arizona yesterday, and it was so great to revisit, love that movie. I think I have to choose this as my favorite of his movies, he is just so right in it. And so adorable. I wonder how many movies he has done voice overs in.
