Thanks for your thoughts Meg, its always great to read about a Nicsterīs take on a Nic movie!
Kick Ass opened this weekend in my country, but itīs been a bank holiday here and I spent it with my parents on the coast (thatīs why Iīm posting on board a train back home right now). Soooo itīs been a crash course on family time for me and I couldnīt make it to the theater... Iīll try and see the movie soon!
Kick-Ass is not shown in my country so I have to wait for the DVD :^(.

Has anyone seen Kick Ass yet? I went to see it with my husband last week. We were definitely the oldest people there, LOL. The theatre was full, and it was loud and fun watching it with all those young people. I enjoyed it a lot, some of it I thought was brilliant, and some a bit disturbing. But is is entertaining and very funny. I don't read comics, but I gather the movie was quite faithful to the original story. I suppose it is the fact of a child performing such violent acts so casually that bothered me, since I have seen so many gross movies over the years with my husband now that I no longer even wince (and that is kind of sad, really.) He loved it, by the way. The little girl is really great, as all the reviews say, but I was so impressed by Nick's performance, he is awesome in it. I do not say that just because I am a fan, I am not always blown away by his work, but he was in top form for this one. Don't want to leave spoilers, so won't say much, but the movie did manage to surprise me, even though I thought it wouldn't, having seen so many trailers and reviews.
Love this pic of him at the premiere, alone in a crowd. The man is so photogenic.
