Yeah I´m not sure I could have done this either. That´s why I admire this simple gesture so much. He didn´t need to do it, you know? Yet he did it.

ugh. i really don't think i could it. i'm pretty picky about food quality. kudos to nic for taking the next step. of course, this is a man who ate a live roach in the line of duty.....

This is a most impressive shot. He could have simply borne witness, but he went on and actually tried the food. He probably took his duties as UN Goodwill Ambassador very seriously and wanted to asses the quality of the food being served to inmates.

That spells real "compassion" to me. Not faking it, but the real thing. Wow.
