Only cuz I've been either hanging around or helping to run this site or the original Toncas (The Original Nicolas Cage Appreciation Society) site for about 10 years...........which is why I am about to pass the torch on to others.
In any regard, I'm glad I could help you with your question!
You'll find that there are several Nic 'PROS' on this site. Never be afraid to ask a question or for information. It may take a day or two, but someone will help you.
:)

Wonderful!!! I knew you would have somethin' for us. Okay... so the beginning of this article was hilarious for me where the author admits that he believes that Nic Cage is making his come back. Come back from what?? He has always been awesome.
The Drive Angry film... I didn't find anyone else listed as cast. I can't wait to see who will play is daughter. I hope it's a believable cast. I had a hard time with the casting in Next, but lived through it. FYI - Alice was in that movie. I am sure you all know that though.
Oom.. thanks for being on top of it all. I have thought of myself as pretty Cage Savvy.. but your Nic knowledge blows me away.
THR's Heat Vision blog has announced tonight that Cage has joined the cast of The Hungry Rabbit Jumps, a thriller to be directed by The Bank Job director Roger Donaldson. The script, written by Robert Tannen, centers on a man whose wife is the victim of a brutal crime. He subsequently becomes entangled with an underground vigilante organization.
"In the best of the Hitch****ian tradition, we've got a character who's offered the chance for vengeance and he finds himself in over his head," producer Jim Stern said of The Hungry Rabbit Jumps. Tobey Maguire's Maguire Entertainment and Endgame are developing the project, however Maguire will not be starring in it.
Rabbit is scheduled to shoot in January in New Orleans. However, this isn't his only upcoming project. While he's supposedly in The Green Hornet, it was also announced a few weeks back that he would star in a 3D revenge action movie called Drive Angry. Written by Lussier and Todd Farmer, the story centers on a man driven by rage chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway. It's already bringing back memories of Gone in 60 Seconds. He'll shoot that film in April after wrapping up Rabbit.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I personally enjoy him in all roles, and would have loved to see him as a villian. He does come with hefty price tag though, so I can understand. And I understand there is another movie that he had on the side burner- jumping bunny?? Interested to hear more about that as well! Oom- any info on the crazy bunny movie?
I picked it because it reminds me of dreaming and also because the stars have always seemed so mysterious to me. I once had a friend who lived far away and they told me that whenever I felt lonely at night I should look out a window in the direction that they lived and it would make us feel closer. Beautiful sentiment, don't you think?

I think Nic would have made a great nemesis in Green Hornet, no matter what his age.
BTW.........Welcome to both of you (BlueAngel and Tiegsgirl) to the forum! Nice to see newbies jumping in!

I was very dissapointed to hear that Nic turned down the villain role in the up coming Green hornet film. I would have like to have seen him in that character. It would have placed him in another Comic type role, so maybe , aside from contract discrepancies, he is trying to avoid being pigeon-holed into that type of genre. Since doing Ghost-Ryder and Bad-Ass, he might be trying to steer clear for awhile. What do you guys think? Do you like him in these roles?
