I totally subscribe what Zoo Keeper said, word by word.
Also... for me Season of the Witch comes as a close second. I´m salivating here at the thought of Nic in medieval garb riding a horse and saving a witch from the wrath of the Inquisition!
From trailer>"Shoot him again, his soul's still dancing" "What? you don't have a lucky crack pipe"? This movie reminds me of so many Nic characters rolled into one! The film, at least from the Trailer, has a feel of 'Sonny and Matchstick Men' Looking forward to Nic playing a BAD-LT.
It really is a toss up for me as I am looking forward to seeing Nic return to 'funky' with BAD LIEUTENANT but I am also looking forward to seeing him in a period piece with SEASON OF THE WITCH.
Then again.....my name used to be Goethlvr because I'm a huge fan of Johann Wolfgang Goethe who wrote the original poem about THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE.
Gads..........It really is difficult to choose...............
