so i actually looked it up (thank you for teaching me to google bon!) and this guy did the rock with cage. uh, sorry mr. bay, but i am pretty sure he was a star BEFORE you got your hands on him. there is a little thing called an oscar on his mantle from a small movie called moonstruck....... in conclusion, i know believe they are both ego-mainiac puds.

i will readily admit ignorance here. who is megan fox, and is there a reason i should know her name? probably because she seems to be "somebody". so, i don't know if she can act. she's cute, but until i see other pictures of her i wouldn't classify her as stellar. if bay discovered her, then she does sound like she is biting the hand that feeds her. what movie did nic do with bay? i think a lot of people and connections can help build the beginnings of a career, but in most cases true talent keeps it viable for decades, as with nic. of course, like mara said, what do i know? nada

It sounds more like to me that Megan Fox is unappreciative and ungrateful. I actually agree with Bay, before he cast Fox in the Transformers, it was "Megan Fox who?" And she talks about the action movie NOT being about the acting. That would be believable from Fox if should could actually ACT!
The dialogue Bay did give her, she couldn't even deliver that without sounding as if she's READING from a script which is why I believe Bay cast her as "eye candy" and nothing more.
I'm sorry, I'm not a fan at all of Fox. She's beautiful but she's a terrible actress, she needs acting lessons and training in etiquette.
If the story is to be believed, I truly understand why Cage preferred to cast Eva Mendes as She-Hulk instead of Fox.
When I read this article, I thought Megan Fox... The same Fox who, if you believe reports, wants to be considered for the "She-Hulk" role Nic is supposedly green lighting... I agree with Bay, in this article, Fox does sound a bit ungrateful...
Director: Megan Fox 'Says Some Very Ridiculous Things'
by Us Magazine July 1, 2009
Megan Fox slammed "Transformers" director Michael Bay for focusing more on special effects than acting, but he doesn't mind.
"Well, that's Megan Fox for you," Bay tell the Wall Street Journal. "She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do.
"You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it,'" he goes on.
Fox told Entertainment Weekly: "I mean, I can't s--- on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don't want to blow smoke up people's a--. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting."
Bay says he "100 percent disagrees" with Fox.
"Nick Cage wasn't a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in 'Armageddon.' Shia LaBeouf wasn't a big movie star before he did 'Transformers' -- and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from 'Bad Boys'," he points out.
Bay thinks Fox could be a little more grateful, though.
"Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers," he says. "I like to think that I've had some luck in building actors' careers with my films."
