Bruce Willis has his 'moments' on film. Sometimes I'm surprised by the word he can do. Poor Stephen Segal............if he got any more wooden on screen, he'd become part of the set.

I'm with you Mara! Russell Crowe is another one who doesn't do a thing for me.

I hear exactly what you're saying. I like the odd blokes as well. Christopher Walken, Donald Sutherland, Hugo Weaving, Hugh Laurie. None of the are 'pretty boys' but all of them ooze a certain kind of sex appeal and intelligence.
That's MY kind of man!
The only 'pretty boy' I've ever liked was Pierce Brosnan. Might be cuz he comes off as being so normal and down to earth, even a tad rough around the edges under the initial charm.

hmmm... could be. i also forgot leo dicaprio. saw him on another thread and reminded me. i do not think he is all that talented, frankly. he is too everything for me. in general i like 'em ecclectic, odd, unpredictable, not too skinny (except crispin glover- love him skinny or not), and sometimes just plain weird. pretty boys need not apply. i need a scar, or crooked teeth or something to make them seem normal. i'm a girl next door who likes the drama geeks instead of the prom king. it's hard to think of actors i don't like b/c i just automatically dismiss 'em from my mind.

Sorry! I didn't mean to crawl into your head. I was just looking for some empty space.....
AAAARRRRGGGGH! Me silly today!
Seriously tho.......................it would make for an interesting study to see if people who liked Nic DIDN'T like the same other actors.
I mean....maybe there is some sort of collective attraction to certain types and dislike of others.

get outta my head bon! tom cruise leads my list, except for lestat in interview with a vampire. that one i will give him. i don't like jack black, for no real reason. can't stand brad pitt, because he is WAY to pretty and skinny. senn penn can s*** it. DO LIKE val kilmer, even though he's pretty, because he is STRANGE! no matthew mcconauhey (spelling totally wrong) no david caruso. that's all i can think of until the rain stops and i can get to starbucks. my barrista's broken :(

After veering into a discussion about this very question I decided to give it it's own spot of glory so people could share with each other their tastes or dislikes in leading men.
So.......Jump on in folks and tell us......Which actors DON'T you like and why?
Personally I don't care for Tom Cruise in the slightest. He doesn't rock my boat at all. He's prettier than I am and I never like people who come off so smugly sure as themselves as he strikes me.
