hmmm....Raven.....somehow your painting made me immediately think of Nic as a knight.....sorta like this.....I guess cuz I can so easily see Nic as the Lancelot type....LOL!

I bet being close to the energy of the painting was a powerful experience too mara! That's the problem with exhibitions for me, I become absorbed and end up sitting in one spot entranced !

Thanks for sharing this wonderful pic mara. The legends of Arthur have inspired so many artists of the years. I have some amazing Arthurian prints by Gustav Dore.

OH Mara!  Trust you to find and experience such a gem and share it with us!  I bet you could have sat hours in the museum studying such a spectacular painiting.  I know I would have gotten lost in it.

Thankyou too for the accompanying article.  The life as an artist....as this article so attests.... is not of his own.  It's as if they are called by a voice to do something that the rest of us humans can't begin to hear nor fanthom even trying.  Amazing!

Oom and Raven, you´re gonna love this: I´m just back from the El Prado Museum, where there´s an exhibit about the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Among many alluring and eerie paintings, I found this one...

I know of your shared passion for the magical kingdom of Avalon, something you have in common with Nic, since I´ve read that his interest in Avalon is the reason why he likes visiting Glastonbury so much.

Ah, those were the times... Where can we find knights in shinning armour in this time and age, huh? Oooh how could I forget? Coming soon to a cinema near you of course!! In Season of the Witch!! LOL!
