I'm currently in pajamas too!  Pink and white clown striped bottoms and a pastel tie dyed t-shirt.   Ya don't want to come near me right now cuz you'd go cross eyed.

BTW......that's one wild dream you had!   Nic's lover saved you from a wild boar?  What the heck could that represent, I wonder!

GOOD GOD YES!!! love pajamas! i am currently wearing my oh so attractive flannels covered in a newspaper print. i have no intention in getting out of them any time soon. thank god for drive-thru starbucks. sorry about the kiddo. i'll send her some virtual chicken soup for it's wonderful healing properties. the dream was short. to reiterate: i usually watch my dreams from an out of body perspective(like a ghost) even when i am in them. last night was diffferent. i was in my body. i was walking thru the woods and found a clearing. (still louisiana, early 1800's me about 13 years old). there was a large boar with scary big tusks and i startled him. he charged me and nic's lover from the other night, in out of body mode, picked me up as the boar raced under me. i recognized her from the other dream. no nic though. guess he left this one to her. riddle me this.....

You're Baaad!   La La laing in my face so early in the morning!

BTW.....I had made hookie plans for myself today too but they got thrown to the wind before they got off the ground cuz my daughter is home sick from school.  This weekend should be my chance for hookie.  Most of the family will be outta my hair for the weekend!

oh god i hope not. LALALALALALALALA i can't hear you!!!!! actually all i can hear right now is jerry lee lewis playing the heck out of his piano. had another dream last night where nic was absent, but his lover was there. tired of being his sister now!!!!!!!! traumatized me. playing hookie from work. actually just tired, so playing hookie. very bad girl today.

Oh how funny!!!  But wait!  Who you calling a SMART*SS???    Huh???   Huh???     MOI?

And here I thought I came across as a highly intelligent, creative, schoolmarm type.   LOL!

Seriously tho..........it sounds like it was a great dream.  I love how he was very protective of you, his little 'sis', and how he stood up to your father in the dream in not going along with marrying you off to the older man.   Interesting time period you are dreaming about as well!

Not sure why, but I like the woman in your dream!   Maybe cuz I always thought Nic was the kind of man who'd enjoy the kind of woman who'd keep him on his toes and who'd get under his skin!  LOL!

BTW......there must be some perks to being Nic's little sister in all your dreams.......

there wasn't much i remember about her physically, but the bond between them was undeniable. there was an easy banter, but she gave as good as she got (which considering the time period is odd). based on dream dad's comment, i would assume she was not appropriate for him for some reason. wrong class level, age diffence, married maybe? they were definately not married, but lovers. she was a smart a** i know, although i can't recall anything in particular to point out as to how i know that. also, he deeply trusted her, i think, because i was holding her hand, not his and in these dreams of him, he is always highly protective of his "little sister". i have had more of these that i haven't posted b/c blah blah blah, who would care but me? but in all of them it is pre-civil war and we are siblings living on a plantation in louisiana. my mojo is broken. sigh.... no great love scenes here for me.

i am reviving this thread b/c i don't remember where i put my other nic dream. i had two in a row, and am sorry to report that i am still the little sister no. in my dreams i am usually a watcher, even if i am a main participant. there was another woman in both who was nic's lover. we were all watchers, holding hands. nic to the left, lover in middle, me on the right. both in louisiana early 1800's. in the first we were coming back from a ride, and as we walked into the house our father called to nic and i for a family meeting. nic settled his lover in the sitting room, got her a cushion and a glass of some liquer. then he smiled at her in a VERY tender way and brused her hair back to kiss her on the forhead. we went to talk to our dad. he told me i was betrothed to a neighboring plantation owner who was quite elderly. nic pitched a fit and told our father that he would not stand for him selling me to the old man just to increase his property. dad said he had no say, and that nic should look to his own lover as she was innappropriate. we hatched a plan of escape. we all met in the barn, and rode off. end of dream. in the next one, we were watching a building burn. same way. holding hands in same order. nic was very sad. that's it. anyone into dream interpretation want to weigh in on this? why am i always the sister and he the protector? why always same time period in louisiana? inquiring minds (well, mind) want to know!confuse
