I love the set up Gwen, well done, you really made sense of our frenzied enthusiastic mayhem!

I just read through the rest of the threads and I like the idea of Ilia and T.z being the younger versions. Inspired!biggrin.gif

I think that the final product - the sript is as important as our brainstorming activity. NIC IS THE HAPPIEST ARTIST HAVING SUCH KIND OF FUN, RIGHT?

When the Gwen will be finished, we can ask Tracy tpo do this for us.
I have also one frien in California - but she is professor Anne Bonham, and I am affraid she is keen on other type of business than carrying our script to NICKY .

Brilliant idea Jenny!   If anyone has a chance in getting the screenplay to Nic, it will be Tracy!

Gwennie, I like it, and I agree with Bonnie. You have to print it out and to make some orders , some notes to our suggestions, because I am sure I am better doctor than scriptwritter, LOL.
I cant wait, and you know what?
I bit that tere is NO FAN FORUM in all all world preparing a movie for it[ star.
I think Tracy has the best possibilty REALY meet NIc, cause she played in one his movie and met him once at one party.
SO doctor order is:
THIS SCRIPT HAVE TO BE PRINTED OUT, SENDED TO Tracy´s address and Traccy will carry it allways in bag. She will hunt for our man and show thim this script ASAP.

VOTE , Who is saying YES?

Hey Gwen...............love your idea!  And um....don't be lost.  I think if you print out the character sketches we came up with you can weave together a wonderful storyline for us!  I can't wait!  :)

I was thinking, is this going to be Columbo style, where the audience already knows how the murder took place and the joy is in watching the detective cunningly unravel it, while the murderess sweats each time a piece of their track is uncovered, or do we discover things alongside him as the story unfolds? smile.gif

Lula, you hit the nail. THAT is a fundamental point that has to be decided early on in the plot development.

IMHO, the audience should only know what Nic´s character learns along the way. I believe that, if we allow them to know more than the detective, the thriller aspect dwindles, and the interest of the story gets switched from him (the pivotal role that gets the murders solved) to the different women rivaling to get his attention (us) and the different ways in which they attempt to do so. But that´s just my opinion. What do you think, Gwen??

we'll definately stay away from wickerman like scenerios. i'll bring ya whatever ya want lu. and oom, if you've lived as long as i have with no rear end, you'd want it for sure. trust me. my back goes straight past my butt. not even a bump! i wanna take advantage! lu, maybe you are stinking, filthy rich but totally jaded and no one knows about the money because you eschew materialism. the only american express black card i have ever seen was given to me by a customer who drove a truck barely held together by rust, and ripped faded clothes. i always love that about him. peception vs. reality.

LOL! To both of you! smile.gif
I reckon we should definitely have some kind of moonlight mayhem, so long as we don't go too wickerman with it, Nic's already done that film!smile.gif

I don't much do slightly either Piegirl, but it would be good if the Cassandra character challenged stereotypes about people who are into certain things.(why does Chris Johnson keep popping in my head?!)
Maybe she could be someone who tried to fit into the mainstream but always felt alienated...perhaps she had enough of the shallowness, cynicism, games, lack of integrity and lack of truthfulness of society. That should just about cover it!

Hey Piegirl, I just thought of the pie your character could bring to our full moon parties......a big pizza pie! When the moon hits your eye!biggrin.gif

Hey, we need more plot here! I'm getting plenty of little cameos, but no cohesion....

Um.....Piegirl..........I seriously can see a scene in my head where the Lane down the Lane is looking into her crystal ball and the Bakery Babe is sitting there eagerly awaiting what the Lady will 'see' and um....the Lady.....simply mumurs "BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR"............

sorry lula,
guess i don't necessarily know how to do slightly;) as long as you let me hang out once in a while, and PLEASE have some shamanistic ritual that involves dancing in the moonlight. i really am proud that i am finally getting a big rear, i wanna celebrate it! how did you end up at the end of the lane?

Oh Lula I love your suggestion! Sounds very much like the real me, getting fastidious over cleaning, Roy Waller style...

Hey Jenny and oom! You've been hard at it! smile.gif
I like your latest idea Jenn, but hey, there is already a bevvy of beauties with all our female characters!biggrin.gif so we need even more long finger, long leg, naked in the shower shots, to make things even! biggrin.gif

and Piegirl, I see you've developed Cassandra Wildwitch from a slightly weird woman who loves crystals and is into shamanism into an agorophobic with only occasional lucidity who is into voodoo! Lol! biggrin.gif

A small cameo just popped into my head, with Molly Penderdust visiting Cassandra, and being fastidious about cleaning whipping out a feather duster and cassandra going "don't touch the crystals!" lol.biggrin.gif

Oooh EXCELLENT ideas Jenny!   We have to show Gabrielle to be a sexy, saucy woman and a nightclub would be a perfect backdrop for her.  And....I agree.....it would also be pleasing to the male viewers of our movie!

YIKES, gals ,
Gwennie, where are you, still out of city?

I was yesterday in night club, with my friends, this was amazing experience for our script. All time I ´ve spent here, I was thinking about the M:O:V:I:E of Nicsters...

The murderer-Gabriele- may be a owner of nightclub/litle bit erotic/ and detective visit his club several times with coleagues to have some blast, he used to talk with her, but he hed no idea about her horror plans.
This may be silly, but never mind, there must be also something for men in the movie / i mean the gals dancing in the club, interrupted lights, wild dirty movements...../
for us - our man will be in it
SO gwen, take into consideration two shower scenes, night club scene, several morgue scenes, and also several picas of NIC´s delicate hands - doing - I do not care what...............but his hands - i think the rating will be higher then.

Oh, I do like all these ideas!   Gwen, dear?   You'll have to pick and choose what elements of all our brainstorming you want to use in the screenplay.  Fee free too to throw in some 'curves'......

For some reason I want to break out into that song

"I'm so excited!  And I just can't hide it"

maybe lula should be a self imposed hermit. normal and known to group until some trauma sent her over the edge and gave her agoraphobia(i THINK that's the one where people fear crowds). her friends check on her regularly. baker makes sure she eats, and picks up a poison or two when detective has wrong girl in his life (just to make them sick though) and maybe capers in moonlight once in a while with her. cleaning lady makes sure she's got regular company and good hygeniene. doc helps her when she's ill. sidekick and detective can use her off center thinking when stumped on a case to help them think outside the box. being alone a lot she develops a passion for the outdoors. gardens to avoid the grocery store and starts to experiment with other plants and herbs. pagan worship or perhaps even voo-doo? could make her a possible suspect because not really all there anymore, except for her lucid moments. but is it an act? is she odd by choice? only gwen knows. anyway, here are some thoughts.

Wow Bonnie, this is brilliant! And Jenny, excellent idea about the Lady Down the Lane!

I´m really impressed at how creative this is getting... I especially like the fact that Piegirl is going to have one of her delicious croissants delivered to me every morning (all the way from Texas to Spain)... Wait, I´m becoming one of those method actors who mingle fiction and reality!

Well, about a LULA´s character, the detective could visit her, because there will be no evidence, no clue enough to resolve the murder thread- so he visit her and she has something like a paranormal possibilities and thus she helps him. This is real possibility I saw in on zone reality - paranormal like investigators - this is good.

I saw Bonnie you were working hardly on it.............

The first murder could be more of a 'hint' that brings the Detective into the vicinity of Gabrielle.  Maybe there has been a string of serial killings and one of the victims was a colleague of his??    He's not really working that case but is starting to snoop around, wanting to know what really happened to his friend.

The Detective, while being a player, is a decent enough guy, close to his sister.  He is almost anal in his need for things to be just so.  His morning ritual consists of stopping by a famous bakery every morning to meet up with his sidekick for a cup of java and to go over plans for the day.  His/their office is right around the corner from the bakery.

The secretary is always at the bakery promptly at 8am, after the early morning rush, but at least an hour before the Detective saunters in.  This is how she becomes good friends with the baker.  When the Detective does make his ritual morning appearance at the bakery, the baker (who is very, very shy...quickly scoots back into her kitchen).  The Detective is aware of the baker but has never spoken with her.  This is how she can be in love with him from 'afar'.

The cleaning lady character is always around later in the day.  She comes in late after her first job of the day is done.  Sometimes the Detective is still in the office to meet a late client, but mostly it is the secretary who is still in the office at that hour of the evening.  This is how the secretary and the Cleaning lady become fast friends.  The cleaning lady has sharp ears and eyes and when the Detective stays late for a client (his most important ones arrive late at night so they won't be spotted going into his building) she misses nothing.

The cleaning lady and the baker are very close friends because the cleaning lady lives atop the bakery.  She gets a 'freebie' croissant and cup of coffee from the baker every morning when leaving for her first job of the day.  When the cleaning lady comes in, the baker takes her early morning coffee break with her and they sit and swap stories.

We have a good idea how the Forensic Dr fits in....

Now..............the question is .....how does the Lady Down the Lane fit in?

Is the slighty weird one a psychic?  Does the Detective make a habit of utilizing her skills?

Enquiring minds wanna know..............
