What a breathtakingly beautiful house!   I love Nic's taste of style in these rooms....and um....I'd definitely stay longer than a weekend.....LOL!

Thing is....while the house is extraordinary, is a house that size ever really a 'home'.  Seems to me when a house is so big that the people in it never have to run into each other, it loses that homey feel.

BTW.........I love Nic's sense of style...........I'd go over the moon throwing dinner parties in that dining room!

I know!  That's what struck me at first......the library with all the books.  Maybe cuz once upon a time I wanted to be a librarian.  LOL!  The room simply looks lived in!

I love the staircase/foyer area too.  When I first saw it on the Barbra Walters special (when he was up for an Oscar for Adaptation)....I thought.....now that staircase is the perfect backdrop for a bride to desend to her groom.....

I also fell in love with what looks like lit up glass chairs (to the right in the staircase photo).  I remember during the BW special that there were two chairs lit up...the yellow one we can just see and a blue one and I thought.....Gawd.......how wonderful is that in a house? 

GLOWING CHAIRS!   LOL!

I wish a picture of the Dining room would come out and hey....while we're at it.....his bedroom......

Ooohhh great find Bonnie!! Iīd love to have a look at his library, it looks like itīs not for show like many rich peopleīs display of valuable books. In Nicīs case, his books look like theyīve been perused many many times... Iīd like to know what enciclopedia heīs got.... And donīt these files look like they could be scripts??? Hmm, it would be a dream come true to have a peek at his shooting copy of the scripts, full of notes on the margins and highlighted in different colours and with post-it notes stuck to the meaningful passages.... Oh boy.... A portal into his brain....
