OH dear Marta...........don't be sad!   Nic isn't the kind of man who tries to please everyone anyway.  He just seems to be the kind of guy who wants to dabble in all sorts of genres and to heck with public opinion. 

I'm not crazy about the first Ghost Rider myself but it looks like it was fun for Nic to make (aside from starving himself to death to look like a skeleton). 

So...the way I look at it.....if Nic does another Ghost Rider and if it makes him happy to do it then I'm happy too.  :)

I saw so many forum. Everybody says:
Nicolas is the worst actor ever, so bad, and the GR, NEXT is horrible.
I don't need GR2!!!!!!

ive just watched GR again for the fifth time in a row - man i do so love that film i CAN'T WAIT for GR2. its another one of my favs  - actually i think all his films are my favs for one reason or another - but this one is so cool as i like tha marvel original and to have Johnny Blaze being played by my most fav actor of all time is just the best.  - wonder wot Johnny could do with that chain that GR couldnt? know wot i mean?? LETS RIDE!! XX

Yep.....we can agree to disagree on this one.   I think my views all go back to when I first became a Nicfan.  It was right around the time of City of Angels and Family Man and Windtalkers and to me, Nic looked really healthy and happy during that period in time and that's simply the way I like to see him.

He has a nominee as a baddest actor in 2008 for the GR, a Golden Razzie. I dont understand, why want he GR2??
He is better actor...disbelief

I have to agree with you nan7nic, I think Nic was "fit" (as we say here in the uk, meaning HOT) in Ghost Rider. He was lean and lithe and sleek! But not thin, sorry Bon we'll have to agree to differ on this one. smile.gif And so toned he looked like he had the reflexes of a panther. flame.gif

Nice thinking there nan, Nic will have developed the character for the sequel...which can't fail to be interesting!smile.gif

As for me, I love Nic in Ghost Rider and I do hope he will be doing Ghost Rider 2 too!  Yes, I can picture Nic in his leather.  As for being skinny he's not that at all.  He is built nice even when Ghost Rider was done and for his age he's just right.  He will be a different Johnny Blaze in the GR 2 because he will be a little older for his character and will look more muscles and broader.  Nice!

Can't you just imagine Nic sitting amongst the cardinals as Johnny Blaze in all that leather?wink.gifbiggrin.gifflame.gif*pauses for a very.... long..... time* sigh....

It really says something about the creative process in the film industry, that everything is lined up but the script...as a writer of sorts, I would say that's where it begins!

Nic should write this! he has the creative fire and impulse of the writer and we know he can write. He came up with the premise and this character is in his soul! biggrin.gif

Somehow I can't see Nic sitting there in a meeting of Cardinals either......but it sure does make for any interesting story if true!

Wow, I love the premise of the film very much, thanks for sharing Bonnie!

Nic´s idea is so cool! I guess some church circles won´t dig it, but... I´m sure the studio could make up for that...

I´ve got a great deal of sympathy for the devil, that familiar old rascal among us, or better put, within us.

Which brings me to... can you picture the cardinals asking for a movie star to sit among them during their conference? Because I´m having some trouble imagining that! Not that I think it didn´t happen, I´m just saying that´s so improbable a situation, LOL.

Don't get me wrong Gwen.........I enjoyed the movie.  It's just I'm the mothering type and even tho I know that Nic wanted to look like a skeleton in order to play one......I didn't enjoy seeing him so thin.

We heard Nic himself talking about the sequel ages ago, saying this time Ghost Rider is coming back BAD....flame.gif and heading to the europe and something to do with churches....but it's been quiet for a long while!

Hmmm....we have an incredibly beautiful historic cathedral in this part of the uk....famous cloisters and all.....methinks it would make an excellent film venue!!wink.gifbiggrin.gif

Liz, as far as I know there was some talk of it way back but I haven´t heard anything about pre-production yet... maybe someone else has the facts?
