Actually both is right Liz... Nic will do stunts that are in his eyes simple... but the more difficult and more dangerous stunts, he uses his stunt double whom he is close to and, has traveled with Nic while he and his family have been on holiday.
can you guys help me out i am really confused? i read a quote by Nic saying " i try to do as many stunts as they let me do. i think it is important for the audience to feel that the actor is really doing it" BUT i have also read a quote by him saying "im not a macho actor and i dont do my own stunts. i dont understand actors that make such big deal out of doing their own stunts"
