I've read some pretty good Ghost Riderflame.gif fan fic too....I remembered that yesterday when enjoying clips on Youtube!smile.gif With the, ( in my opinion )glorious prospect, of a second Ghost Rider, I'm sure many fan fic ers have some ideas for the sequel...biggrin.gif

Yeah, I'd say so. It's a huge Disney franchise, but it's actually a small fandom compared to others (Like Jerry Bruckheimer's other franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean). I actually like this fandom being small... there is some weeeeird stuff out there for larger fandoms. confuse

I agree with mara, that little teaser of your writing has kindled my curiosity! I tried to link on your name but my phone didn't like the page so...purlease share some more!
That exchange between Ben and Abigail is one of my favourite scenes, amongst many, in National Treasure!

Would you say the National Treasure films in particular have generated the most fanfiction of all Nic's films? Seems to be the popular one, which has to be a reflection on the adventure and quality of the story in the films themselves!smile.gif

Okay guys, I read/write National Treasure fanfiction... these are two of my favorites.
 THESE ARE NOT WRITTEN BY ME. 
They are probably the best I've read as far as any National Treasure fan stuff goes... they are a bit of a read, but worth it if you have the time. 

Summery: Ben and Abigail are reunited and happy. With life back to normal, the couple is focusing on their future. But one late night phone call changes everything. A decision must be made. Love will be tested by a man's obsession, a man they thought was long gone
Genre: Suspense/Romance 
Author: Dillyn Breeze

Summery: A belated Thanksgiving story. The story of how Ben and Riley first met, which happens to be earlier than many may think. AUish.
Genre: Family/Friendship

I couldnīt agree more, TreasureProtector... I find Nic fictions kinda creepy.... there used to be some of these around and they rang distasteful to me.... itīs different if a novel features a fictional character inspired by Nic... then itīs like an elaborate portrayal of sorts, not a stalker fantasy like in the first case... at least thatīs MHO.

Fanfics! Yay. Um, I have an aversion to fanfiction about  real people (for example if the story was about Nicolas) but no problem if it's about his characters. Two different things there wink

I like to think that Michael just got back to Texas somehow and got a job and met a nice country gal and should have been happy ever after.... but that he his marriage didnīt quite work because he couldnīt stand homely routine and he ended up all grumpy and developed severe insomnia because he couldnīt get that bitchy Suzanne out of his head!!! Iīm not a romantic, as you can see, LOL!

And I often stop to play the new movies in my mind of what is happening to some of Nic's older characters now...Sailor and Lula for example. Only the other day I was wondering what had happened to the gorgeous Michael Williams after his train finally took him away from Red Rock West and arrived at it's destination....smile.gif

Fanfiction territory is always fascinating to me, irrespective of the quality... itīs a love offering of sorts right?

Marianna, a member here, has written a novel and has based one of her characters on Nic. Itīs not your regular fanfiction, but a philosophical tale, following a very imaginative and intriguing concept. Good for you, Marianna!

Her novel is in French, but who knows if you all will hear about it someday in your own language...

ICHTY is a very, very good movie.  Well acted, tender and it has Nic in his top form.  What more could you ask for?   :)

Don't you wish love were really expressed like that?   That someone would do anything...virtually anything......so that they could be with the one that they loved...and even if it didn't turn out happily...that they believed with the depth of their souls that IT WAS WORTH IT?  And that they would go thru it all again?
