Even though I haven´t read the comic books, I too think this feels fresh Lula... probably not everybody´s cup of tea because of the blunt sense of humor though. I love how Nic is taking chances in the offbeat direction again!
The comic and the script are getting some good reviews, and I have a feeling this film is really going to deliver on the hype.
I like the the way it sounds like the superhero concept is interwoven with the characters reality in a contemporary way. I just feel this film is gonna hit a nerve dead on as a film in its own right as well as a comic book adaptation, both with its flavour and relevancy. It feels fresh and new doesn't it? .
