Hey All..................a few months ago I had said that I would be needing to leave the site or, at the very least, pull very far back from being active in it due to going back to school. Well, that day has arrived! I started back at school last week two days a week and starting next week I jump up to a full course load four days a week. I won't have time to be around much at all.
Since Mara has kindly agreed to take on moderator duties (you're perfect for the job Mara.....have faith), and since we have so many friendly and talkative new members, I can honestly say I'm leaving at a great time.
The active Nicfans that are here now, as of this very moment....Rock this place!
I've been hanging around Cagefactor, and before that Toncas, for close to 10 years. For some peculiar reason I've always thought that the brillant actor Nicolas Cage deserved a fanclub/forum filled with humorous/saucy/intelligent members who not only wanted to tout his magnificience, but who also wanted to hang with like minds......people from over the world who like to share fun and games, news, poems, songs, viewpoints and clever repartee.
With the help of Colleen, the owner of this forum, and with other wonderful long term members, I think CF has accomplished just that....this wonderful place is filled with and continues to attract vibrantly fun people who have one thing in common when they arrive at this website.....an appreciation for the actor Nicolas Cage.
And he, whether he realizes it or not, is one heck of a lucky guy to have Cagefactor and the kind of fans who hang around here.
Anyhooo.......I wish all of you health, happiness and much love. From here on out I'll be a stopping by once in a while kind of lurker rather than an incessant poster. (Oh shush....I heard that breath of ...."Good Riddance"!) LOL!
