It is us who should thankyou Rumblefish for your thoughtful and observant review of Ghost Rider and the superhero culture! It really made my day reading it
Thankyou also for coming by and introducing yourself, it is always nice to meet a fellow Nic fan, but especially a fellow Ghost Rider enthusiast!
As you can probably tell from my username, I am very fond of Wild at Heart...so I am excitedly looking forward to your review!
Good luck with your new site

I am the guy who wrote the review for Ghost Rider being showcased here.
I just wanted to pop in and thank you all warmly for your kind words on my piece - my site is still in the 'infant' stage so it was really, really exciting to have one of Nic's fans refer my article to this forum, and for your members to dig what I had to say about him.
Nic and I are about the same age, and I've been following his career since Rumble Fish (hence my nick). My personal favorite is 'Wild At Heart', and at some point in the future, I intend to do a full review on it. I will try to drop by, and let you know about it, once it is published.
Wow...........Great article, Lula! Thanks for sharing it. I bet Nic himself would enjoy reading it. OH, and please do share your thoughts and ideas. I know I, for one, would like to hear them!

A great article about how the superhero has evolved for the 21st century, from someone who, in my opinion, truly 'gets' Ghost Rider!
I think I've shared before that I'm very into the superhero/superheroine culture (I'm writing a 21st century superheroine character with a difference..plenty of room in the currently superhero dominated market for her!?)... and Ghost Rider is often overlooked as a film which, for me, develops and expands the superhero concept as well as being a good film in its own right.
As the author of the article points out the film 'transcends' existing archetypes, not only that, I think it synthesized and expanded many film elements and you could say initiated the 'new age' of superhero films (it preceded Iron Man and The Dark Knight, the two other films mentioned in the article).
I have plenty to say about this film, but I'll shut up for now and post the article
