I've kind of been clear in my own mind for a long time about Nic's ability for range and diversity, but what's coming through for me with the latest interviews is his openness, he is not controlling or rigid, he always seems to be able to surrender to new experiences, and he just seems to keep growing.
On criticism: "Because it's so good they have not caught up with it yet."
"Why not be eclectic and why not test your range?" The rightful confidence of a very talented actor who keeps on taking risks, isn't afraid to diversify and just keeps growing.
My favourite part though, 'And that's why, Cage says, he prefers to delve into the process rather than dwell on the results.'
How about that for living in the moment, enjoying the journey and not focussing on the destination!
